So, It's Official...

I've made a decision. I'll be attending The College of New Jersey come the end of this August. I have orientation next Tuesday and today, was called about housing. Thankfully, they have found me something for the fall but i'll have to move out December when the fall semester is over and move back in elsewhere come the spring -_- This annoys me but I'm taking what I can get because I don't want to commute (it'd be about an hour ride). Also, it seems as though i'll have my own room (i'm in a townhouse) so i'm incredibly stoked about that...not to mention the fact that i'll finally have high speed internet access

Wellll....I have my Associates in Political Science but I applied for Communications. My plan is to focus on Public Relations but I fully intend on picking up a second major. Whether or not that's Poli Sci, Music, or Business remains to be seen but it's more than likely going to be one of those three.

Nice, you are smart not to commute! You will have so much fun. Oh yeah, and learn some stuff too! Hehe. I'm psyched for you.

I commuted to school but it was only a 1/2 hour ride on quiet backroads so it wasn't bad at all. I just missed the whole scene and encourage people to take the opportunity to dive in when they can. :)

Congratulations Marissa, that's great!

Congradulations, Marissa! Good luck. :woohoo:

It's not like I couldn't commute but it's time for me to leave here. It's been time for a good two years. I know it sounds horrible but I could honestly care less about campus activites, meeting people, etc. I just want my friggin' degree which I would have just gotten this past month had I stayed in school. I think because I am so much older that i'll have a completely different attitude which is why THANK GOD I have my own room. I'm not a party girl and by the time i'm back in, i'll be 22...i'm OVER IT  I told them if they put me in a dorm, I'd commute. No way am I living with a bunch of 18 year olds. Thusly, upperclassmen residency *wipes brow*
