Lindsey survivor?
 

It's been done for the Mac and Stevie several times over, but Lindsey has never had his own Survivor. Rezamatic and I were wondering if we should throw one for him here?

If you vote "Yes," then also chime in as to whether we should do a single album or all the albums combined into one huge mega Lindsey-survivor, inclusive of his non-album songs as well.

I'd love to participate, and think it's a good idea, but I don't have any of his solo albums. So, then, I'd be sad. Just saying. :)

Maybe start out with a single album, go on to the next, and so on, then do the non-album songs together, them put all the album and non-album winner in together for a survivor. :shrug:

I like Dark Angel's idea for a separate Survivor for each album (and, really, it's not like he has that many, so it'd go quickly!), then a Survivor for the non-album tracks, and then one last mega-Survivor, with the four winners duking it out. :D

Hmm, shouldn't there have been more Stevie survivors done at her solo board by now? I only remember the Bella Donna and The Wild Heart survivors. :shrug:

By the way perhaps I should warn you, Rez and I are gonna do this old-school, like Tusk survivor. It requires a little more brainwork but I know you guys are up to it. This is, after all, the Lindsey forum. ;)

I'm sure you won't. I was just making a joke. Amber's teasing me about being such a stickler for rules. The main differences will be that there will be "immunity" trivia questions and votes tallied by subject line.

This actually poses a very good question... when we get to the Lindsey Rarities Survivor, will "Twisted" count? ;)

Of course! They were very careful to keep their names separate on that track - "Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks" - so we should respect that and treat it like just another duet. :)

well, it's not official, and we'd have to decide which songs to include or not.. but that'd be great.

Well, yes, lol. But why not do it anyway, is what I meant. As for which songs to include, that is an interesting question. If we just do the ones that were leaked together, and not the ones from the Village Recorder, we'd have to exclude my favorite Deep Dense as well as a couple others that are good. Perhaps we can make our own rules regarding what was on Gift of Screws as in anything he hasn't released in the last 10 years or so.

P.S. I love "Stevie talks dirty." lol

I'm pretty sure Gerald will protest if "Given Thing" is not included in the survivor. :nod:
