Lindsey Soundstage w/ Stevie
Show: Soundstage
Episode: (#1204) Lindsey Buckingham With Special Guest Stevie Nicks Network: (PBS) Public Broadcasting Service Date: Thursday - July 21, 2005 Time: 10/9c PM Duration: 1:00 About: Soundstage: (#1204) Lindsey Buckingham With Special Guest Stevie Nicks Hailing from Fleetwood Mac, one of America’s most renowned and successful bands, Lindsey Buckingham embarked on a productive and storied solo career that continues to evolve 18 years after his departure from the band. In this SOUNDSTAGE appearance, Buckingham’s performance spans the various eras of his career. Whether performing hits "Red Rover" and "Peacekeeper" or 1981’s Law and Order single "Trouble" and the title song from Go Insane, Buckingham seamlessly ties the decades together with reverent detail. As a bonus, the alluring Stevie Nicks joins Buckingham during the set, providing an intimate view of the chemistry that once propelled their former band to the top of the charts. Though their once tumultuous relationship was a topic that reached near-epic proportions, this reunion eclipses the controversy, placing all emotion back into the songs that defined them. WOO-HOOO!!!! :blob2:
Thanks for the info, Daniel... I can't wait to see this! |
:] :blob2: :] :blob1:
I am so happy! Thanks for the info Daniel! |
I guess it's good they release it while Stevie is on tour... might provide some extra interest in viewership. Wonder if they'll air it during a pledge drive. Wonder how many minutes of footage Stevie gets. Hhmm... was that always the title or did it get changed?

Well, since the Buffalo station will show it 6 months late @ 2am on a Sunday, I wouldn't get too excited. *runs to check local listings hoping she's too cynical* |
I think they sell the DVD's of these a la Chris Issak (sp.?) - so . . . regardless of whether it shows in your area, you can get the DVD, ableit you'll have to wait a few weeks
|
no offense but -snore- thinking of stevie and lindsay together reminds me of the mac...and I'm kinda over the mac this year...2005 is alla bout STEVIE dammit!

I don't know if they automatically release every episode, I heard it's up to the artist? Anyone know for sure? Anyhoo - if anyone wants to do me a favor, please email my PBS station & ask when it will air/say you can't wait/whatever. Seems like I'm the only one who ever emails them about Soundstage & if they here from me & nobody else again, I can just FEEL their eyes rolling as they ignore my request.   So: Hawkeye, Drummerdeanna, anyone remotely close to Buffalo (or not - how the hell would they know, lol) please send an email to: [email protected] Thanks! :D |

5 am here. ....same with Chris' Christmas Special. |

Same old story here in Providence. My only hope is the Boston station but for the Chris Isaak Xmas show they showed it about 10 times on their digital cable station (which I don't have) and only once on regular cable and TV. |

Lindsey's Soundstage was mostly his solo material that was both released and unreleased songs. It wasn't really anything like a Mac concert. Some of us made the trip from all over the USA to see the show filmed in Chicago. It is now going on 2 years this September that it was filmed so we are getting a little anxious to actually see it. I am not holding my breath for the airing and/or DVD release but it would be nice to get to see something of Lindsey's this year. I am a bit bored with these Stevie shows. |
