Dallas

Egads! I couldn't stand it any longer...I caved in to an ass pounding ticket agent and spent $225 for 3rd row seats in Dallas. I must be bonkers. :]

Let me know who else has tix.

ELIUD 06-13-2005 05:54 PM

I have 2 seats in row R section 102. What broker did you use?

SapphireSister 06-13-2005 05:54 PM

You should consider yourself lucky. First 5 rows in Los Angeles are going for nearly $600 through the brokers.

Nightbirdjel 06-13-2005 05:57 PM

Well, not me yet. Been checking TM off and on all day. Closest so far was Sec 203 Row O-as in "O" I don't think so!! I'll probably have to take it up the ass and go the scalper route also. Just thought I'd go through the motions for awhile so I can tell my boyfriend (who's paying for our tix) "I tried". ;)

Oh yeah-congrats on the 3rd row tix. I guarantee it will be worth it. In 20 years, the great memory of the show will far outlast the bad memory of the price! :D

SteveMacD 06-13-2005 05:59 PM

Kristen shot J.R....Oh wait, wrong Dallas...

MirrorInTheSky 06-13-2005 06:23 PM

Thanks for the reassurances. I still have EMS on standby for when the realization hits that I've spent that much money for a concert.....but in my heart I know it's Stevie and the memories will last forever.

For the record, I got them off of FanTickets.com. They seemed to be the best seats in that price range, so I figured I'd take the plunge. We'll def have to arrange a pre concert shindig for the Dallas fans.

Oh, and I'm row C sec 104 if anyone is near there.

I don't know which brokers you're checking out, but if you do cave in and decide you have go broker style to get your seat (reminder, it is always better to just wait it out), then these folks have the best prices: http://www.1-800-bestseats.com/. I have also used them in the past (enchanted tour if I recall so they're legit).

That really isn't that bad. It certainly is better then getting heat stroke waiting at the box office for a release the day of the show.

LOL....I'm hoping that the sugar daddy who's coming along with me will take care of that!

Okee

I just bought my tickets. Sheebus with the frickin' extra charges. 140 bucks. We are sitting in Section 207, Row BB, which is the 2nd row on the lower balcony, which, I think will be an EXCELLENT view. As long as nobody super tall sits in front of me. LOL I will keep looking for front row though.

See ya'll there!

I don't know about Dallas...we'll be out of town and we're lucky that we'll be close enough to Houston to see that show. I'd have to bail on my friends and that would be uncool seeing as how we planned this vacay MONTHS ago before the tour dates were released.

I will see you in Houston right? You BETTER be there or I'm coming over there to storm the capitol building Mr.!!

You expect me to shell out MORE money for Houston after being sexually violated by these avaricious ticket agents?!?!?!?

(You know I'll try to be in H-town if I can get pit seats.....)

Hey! You're the one who dropped trow!:laugh: I know, I know, you just HAVE to have pit seats. I've never been to the Woodlands so I'm sure I'm in for a rude awakening---I'm sure I'll be cursing my seats and saying, "Never again if I'm not in the pit!!"

Anyway, I hope you can make Houston.

Me too, I was in the pit for FM last summer, and I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else. I know that Livia was outside the pit (pun intended), so maybe she can tell you what it's like. What are your seats?

I had 2nd row pit for the Enchanted tour, and first row behind the pit for TISL, and was a few rows further back for SYW. The only problem w/ the Woodlands is that if you are too far on the sides, in the front sections, you won't be able to see diddly squat...If your seats are closer to the middle section, you'll be fine.

Travis - your PM box is full - I'll just send you an email, I think I still have your address....

Sweet. I'm in the middle, but I'm like at the back of the front section (not the pit) :distress:. I'll try to go up front some, but I hear security is pretty tight.

I was so pissed at SYW last summer. The security guard on Lindsay's side told me that as long as you're in the pit, he didn't care where you stood, so I thought I was it was a sure thing that I could rush the stage (from middle of 6th row). But the guard on Stevie's side was firm and wouldn't let me up. I guess it depends on who's on guard.

Security varies at that place - the pit has its own railing around it, with security people posted at each entrance. So, it is pretty hard to sneak in there....but Bruce did it on the Enchanted tour for the Edge rush - so

Well I might try my luck. If Bruce can do it then maybe I can...wait, I think Bruce might have special, magical Stevie powers that I don't have! He's been a fan longer than any of us put together!

That's right, I DID make you watch his high school era Xmas-explain why you love Stevie so much-videotape, didn't I?? :D

If enough people rush the stage, security will be helpless. At the Enchanted show, I told the 16-year-old security dude to expect it...he said, "You'll have to get past me first," and I said "watch me!" But just like always, you never know how tight security will be, or whether or not they've been briefed by Stevie's people beforehand to allow it, somewhat.

The theme of this tour seems to be "Ledgies who have never touched Stevie are finally getting to touch her!"
