I'm new here, this is my first post and I just wanted to say hi to everyone and that i'm really glad to be part of the Ledge! I actually attended my first Stevie concert in Philly a few weeks ago! I've been a fan for a long time, but since I was born in 1984, I guess I'm behind a few decades :laugh: Those who were there from day one are really lucky, so I'm always interested in what people have to say... 'Rhiannon' was the very first song of Stevie's that ever heard, and even as a child, it knocked me out! Stevie has been one of my greatest inspirations, so as an art student, her presence is always in my work:) Claudia (from Dreams) was sweet enough to post some of my artwork on her website, and I also sold my first art print of my Stevie painting :) If anyone is interested in seeing my artwork, I'd be more than happy to post them.....

I haven't been online all day, and I just wanted to thank everyone for your wonderful comments :) It makes me really happy to know that fellow Stevie fans like my stuff, especially since there aren't many people I know who really love Stevie's music like I do. My friend and I share this common bond.

Here's a pretty funny story.... this really cute guy in my class, who never paid much attention to me before cause I'm little (I'm only 5ft, he's gotta be over 6ft!) Well he loves Stevie, thinks she's really pretty, and when he found out that I draw her, he would never leave me alone :lol: .... and then this kid says that I remind him of Stevie, his exact words : "now every time I think of Stevie, I'll think of you..." God, I was sooo embarassed! But I was practically MELTING in my seat!! I don't really look totally like her, there are some similarities though.... Anyway I thought I'd share that with everyone.

And to Melanie, you should definitely keep drawing! Your mission this week is to go out and buy a sketchbook and a set of Micron ink pens :nod: , and if you do a little bit every night, you'll have the whole book filled by the end of the summer :D

Hey, a warm and happy welcome. I'm new too, just joined last month. I wanted to say taht I think it's great that younger fans are getting into Stevie. Just remember it's not how many shows you go to, or how much stuff you have, it's how you feel about Stevie in your heart...... :)

I really believe that in some way, I was born to be a Stevie fan :)
