Ooooh.... That is beautiful. I had bid on one of these about four years ago. I had kind of forgotten it existed until now. I want one, badly.

I'll get pictures of my stuff and get it posted ASAP. Likely on Monday.

I'll try and take some pictures of stuff this weekend but in the meantime here is my favorite Bella Donna collectible:

http://destinygalleria.com/store110410.jpg

On the far left side of the pic below the platinum rock a little record is the Bella Donna Tour jacket!

I am so glad that place isn't near me. I would be more broke!

GarboSpeaks! 06-10-2005 09:24 PM

OOOH! That big Bella Donna pic of her looking thru the tambourine. What's the story on that?!?!?!?! A record store promo thing? A UK issue something? What? WOWZER! Yea, ya'll with that die-cut BD thingy.... JEALOUS! lol Very nice. See them very seldom. I do beleive I have about 18 related BD 45's. Maybe more. Vinyl is my main deal for collecting. I'll have to go through it all and see. I do have the BD cover poster, as well as the "aeroplane" pose poster (well ok, my mom just won me that on Ebay, but I don't get it till Aug. B-day...but it counts right?)
GREAT thread. You gonna do it per album/era? That would be a blast. LOVE seeing what's out there collectible wise.
ALK

seeker007nmss 06-10-2005 09:48 PM

Thought we could start with the first three solo and go from there. Soooo much stuff out there.

GarboSpeaks! 06-10-2005 10:06 PM

But wait. Tell me the story of that poster thingy. Is it on cardboard? Did it come like that? I've never seen that pic that large, so is it a Modern Records promo item? What? C'mon, you started it! :D :xoxo:

;) Look in the Tour Merchandise thread-that's where this was originally discussed. Wish it was mine! That is one amazing collectible. I really love seeing all the cool stuff everyone has-there's always something new and undiscovered!

GarboSpeaks! 06-10-2005 11:33 PM

Sorry ELIUD

Cause Seeker had started that thread w/ BD stuff, I assumed it was theirs. Sorry bout that. Then someone pointed me in the right direction to the tour merchandise thread. You are now my new hero for rare item unearthed. LOL. Too frappin cool!!!!!!!

Bella Donna stuff

I bought this necklace at a store called Craig's Records & Tapes (WAY long gone now) at Ridgmar Mall in Ft. Worth, TX around 1984. At the cashier, there was one of those jewelry/pin displays that you could spin around. There were lots of cool rock & roll group necklaces, but of course this one jumped right out at me-especially so early in my "fandom". It was kinda cheap but I've never seen or heard of another one since that day. Knowing my luck, it's totally not rare and everyone else already has one, but here it is anyway.

I have the whole set of Stevie Nicks Longboxes. I dunno who else has them around these parts. They are the originial boxes that CDs came in right when CDs came to be. I have from Bella Donna through Timespace. SA didn't have one.

I have one, but my camera is acting up. It is on paper, medium thickness (which why I framed mine special - so it wouldn't tear) Used by modern as a promo to be put up in Record stores.

There's the two promo posters for Bella Donna too. One of the album cover and another with the picture from the Stop Draggin' My Heart Around Single.

Anyone have the Bella Donna songbook?

amber 06-11-2005 03:30 PM

You guys are making me want things I never wanted before, have no use for, can't afford, and have no where to put.
Very Cool
Thanks for sharing. I better not look at this stuff anymore, though.
Except, I still really want a necklace like that (but silver, and not cheap).

Dark Angel 06-11-2005 03:34 PM

I just went digging throuugh a couple boxes and found the following:

Edge Of Seventeen 7" (Spain)
Bella Donna LP (Original Master Recording)
Stop Draggin' My Heart Around 12"
Bella Donna Promo LP
Edge Of Seventeen 12"
Bella Donna Original Master Test Pressing

If anyone wants me to posts scans, let me know. :)

Johnny Stew 06-12-2005 12:49 AM

I had the sheet music for "Edge Of Seventeen," "Leather & Lace," "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around," "After The Glitter Fades," "Stand Back," "If Anyone Falls," "Talk To Me," "I Can't Wait," "Rooms On Fire" and "Maybe Love" (as well as the sheet music to many Mac singles)... but all of them, except "Maybe Love," were ruined when our roof leaked into my closet several years ago. :distress:

The one I have (large stand-up with tambourine) is actually a thick cardboard heavier than album cover stock maybe 4 times as thick and has a cardboard bracket attached to the back to make it stand. I don't know anything else about it but I'm sure it was used in stores.
