:sorry: all I saw were the T-shirts; it was crowded, so I didn't get up there close enough to see what else they had. Maybe someone else did.

I kind of like the hoodie, but I'll probably just get the black one when push comes to shove. I'm trying to cut down on my fairy wear .

I do too but it was $55. At the Wachovia Center, there's ice under the floor and Kelly and I were FREEZING. We kept trying to find ways to justify the purchase

What I wouldn't give to freeze come July  We are going to be melting out there!!

I like the Stand Back one.. with the drawing.. she more then likely drew that one.. not that I'd buy it, I'm not into the clothing... I like the posters or tour books.. but it doesn't look like they have any of those yet.

I'm with ya there. I haven't added a new Stevie poster to my collection since I got the TISL one with Stevie sitting cross-legged in front of the Hindi sand painting.

Regarding the shirts for this tour....I certainly hope they add something a little more....well, masculine. I simply cannot wear a pink hoodie.

I wish Stevie would hire an obsessive fan to replace the coveted 'merchandiser' position that Chris has held all these years.

DAMMIT! Love the hoodie! How much was the first one, the black babydoll T?

That first t-shirt is beautiful!
Why the hell didn't they have those in Vegas instead of those fugly Caesar's Palace tees? They were nasty.

Wow, I wish we got to see some of that stuff here in the UK.
Alas no Stevie posters here :(

I had to get it from eBay, and it didn't cost too much. Oddly, most promo posters can be found in record stores for a brief time after the album is released, but I never saw this one anywhere 'cept eBay. I'd like to get it framed, but the dimensions are totally unstandard, and I just cannot afford the custom framing for it yet.

I'm still hunting for the promo poster that features the cover shot of TISL. I can never seem to find it, though I haven't looked lately.

I have the black and white Street Angel poster too....it used to be framed, and it was leaning against a wall, on the floor, (foolish, yes) in the basement. Alas, my water heater cracked and poured water everywhere, and the lower half of the poster was pretty much devastated. It's also hard to find, and too pricey to replace at this point. Someday I'll cut it up and use it for a Stevie collage.

CreepingDeath 06-08-2005 12:12 PM

Thanks for posting those, Pip.

The merchandise this tme is way better then that shoddy Vegas t-shirt. I'm so going to buy that pink hoodie. :woohoo:

I paid a pretty penny to get my TISL lithograph matted and framed, but it looks awesome! If there's a Michael's Art Supply store, or something similar in your area, wait until they have one of their 1/2 off your entire custom framing order specials. I got mine matted w/ that dark teal blue that's in the background, in a silver frame. It's gorgeous, if I do say so myself! ;)

The only other TISL posters I have aren't even really posters, they are album sized cardboard pics - one of the leaning on the wall, and the album cover on the flip side. There's another version w/ sepia tones.

I've rarely seen any promo stuff for Stevie in the record stores over here. She's not really a big name in the UK. Stevie posters are pretty much non-existant here. Although I did win that Ledgie competition not too long ago and Michael promises me I will get my Stevie poster and Tusk lithograph soon, which is beyond cool :D

If only there was a list of all the stuff out there from Buckingham Nicks to now! It would be so cool if everyone on The Ledge could get together and try and draw up a definitive list of all the posters, promo stuff and tour merchandise. I think that would be fascinating.

I'd love to work on this - I have tons of stuff (promo posters/5" and 3" CDs/45s/LPs, trade ads, postcards, tourbooks), most all are solo Stevie - though I have a mildly impressive collection of Mac CD singles and promotional LPs. The only thing I never really got into were photos and buttons - there are just too damn many and they're too easy to mass produce and pass off as authentic merchandise.

Any list would have to include pictures.

Tango 06-08-2005 02:37 PM

There were a series of bears there- $20.00 each. I also spotted Don and Stevie key rings, $5.00 and a Don Hat- I can't recall the cost. I saw a Beauty & The Beast autographed picture, but it didn't seem to be for sale. It had Stevie's writing on it. There were no Don/Stevie together items. Separate but equal. They both have solo tours on, and maybe it wasn't worth coming up with something for just 10 shows. Too bad it's not being recorded officially. They could make a dandy profit. Write to their managers?

Pictures definitely  I want to see all this stuff! I also find all the various t-shirts from each tour interesting too. I'd love to know what was selling on the Bella Donna tour for instance.

We could do this in a thread here on The Ledge - that makes it easy to post pictures, don't you think?

Any other Ledgies interested in sharing their collections, so we can draw up a list of what's out there?

I started a list and got to 478 items before I stopped. (Obviously I dont have everything on it) Did NOT include photos, pins, boots or demos. Just too many. This included EVERYTHING I could find. I am game if you guys are to give it a try. What we need is a Website with LOTS of space that someone would construct. Someone who knew how to do such things. (I still have trouble getting avatars to work...so I will pass - But will contribute my list and pics if someone wanted to try)

trackaghost 06-08-2005 04:58 PM

That would be cool Seeker.
Does anyone want to help? I have no idea how to set up a website but I'd help sorting it all, if people are interested.

KarmaContestant 06-08-2005 11:06 PM

Honestly, this is a huge undertaking. I can design websites, but I just do not have the time or resources to commit to this project. I too can contribute pics & catalog numbers (when applicable) of what I have, but that is about it.

That's the problem. You think it wouldn't be too big...but the more info you gather the bigger and bigger it gets! MAybe if it was broken down by type - posters, ...etc. Or by Albumn... it might be easier. But new things are always popping up. "I never knew THAT existed". 30 years later and I STILL find new junk I never knew was out there. *sigh* so many things, so little money and space. :D

trackaghost 06-10-2005 08:50 AM

I guess I have no clue how much stuff is out there but it would be interesting to attempt I think.

I don't know, should I start a new thread asking for info on Bella Donna merchandise and see what the response is like and go from there?

Half of it is just collating all the info.

Let me know what you think

Edit: like this Stevie Nicks water bottle for instance - what an obscure piece of merchandise this is!

Wow!!! That water bottle is so cool!!! How do you get one? I've never seen it on eBay or anything. I had no idea something like that even existed...

I don't have one, i just found the picture on the net.

Cool though isn't it?

That's why I think it would be awesome to put all these things together on one site.

I have made a very big decision folks.

I am going to splurge & purchase the pink hoodie. :o

ELIUD 06-10-2005 03:18 PM

I've got two things I have yet to see turn up on Ebay. I'm not selling them or anything I just wanted to see if you guys have seen these. When I get home I'll post the pictures of what I have.

The first is an old Bella Donna stand-up that's about three feet high by one foot wide. It's a picture of Stevie wearing the bella donna outfit looking through a tambourine and wearing that large blue beret with a big feather. I bought it from a dealer maybe 10 years ago in Austin. It was in pretty bad shape then and still looks a little scuffed up.

The second is a Tango pop-up that when laying flat is only 8.5 x 11 but when you open it shows the group shot of the band like on the back cover with the painted foilage all around them. It was in pristine condition when I got it from some friends I worked with in California. Today it's a little beat up.

ELIUD 06-10-2005 06:59 PM

This is how bad it looked when I bought it. Maybe I did add the water damage.

http://home.ripway.com/2004-1/62384/Tango_popup.jpg
This used to be in pristine condition, but I don't take very good care of things.
