The guy is a crook!!!!! I will NEVER purchase bootleg dvd's again because of him!!!!

Oh, his excuses for me were he was out of town for 2 weeks, house got flooded, got a very bad disease and his meds were $$$, and many others I don't remember.....he fed me every line of bull**** in the books!!! Never did get mine. I hear that he lurks around here, so hopfully he is reading these and gets his ass in gear...thats right asshole, send me my damn dvd's!!!!

Wow! Was he mac something or another--I can't remember exactly now... I guess I was lucky because I actually got a DVD from him also.......but I bought mine when he very first started offering them--then I heard all of the nightmare stories :distress:

this show will be in the trade circles before long, Just try to find a reliable trader who will trade ya a copy (Most accept B&P trades, So all ya would need is a blank DVD-R and return postage).

Hello, For the record i am not Todd Davey and im unaware of him or his business practices. The fact of the matter is this. The DVD set is still available for order.

Feel free to wait and get a low grade copy via trade or a Torrent site , Other shows from this tour have been recorded (YES VIDEO) but if there isn't enough interest or if im gonna let out 2 copies so they're torrented and traded allover the world, i'll keep them for my personal archives and they will never see the light of day.

How would one get a low grade copy of a lossless DVD via a torrent? And you are aware that selling bootlegged concerts is illegal, right? What gives you the right to make a single goddamned penny off of Stevie and Don? What makes you think that this board is here for you to advertise your illegal material and make money off of? Are you giving the owners a percentage of your profits?

Feel free to be a total ass about your boots, but just remember how people in the SN/FM community get their boots: from honest people who do it for the love of the music, not to make money off the backs of the artists. If you're going to be like that, I hope to hell you don't have any other bootlegs that others taped, because someone as greedy as yourself shouldn't get joy out of music that people freely trade when you yourself are too concerned with the bottom line of making a quick buck.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, But wasnt Todd Davey from Maryland? This seller is also from Maryland...Makes me wonder. At least Todd did not rip me off, I only bought 1 video out of curiosity from him and I let him know my bank has fraud protection and tracking on my bank acct., So if he thought he was gonna "con" me he was in for a big surprise.

Hmmmm--I don't remember if he was from Maryland or not.... all I know is that I've tried to pay through paypal for this twice now and for the 1 email addy he is giving it is saying he is not registered yet--and for the other email addy which I did have go through--the payment is sitting unclaimed??? I don't have any way of canceling it because it has already gone through so I'm asking him for a refund which I have yet to get........ On paypal it says if it stays unclaimed for 30 days then I will get my money back..... so if anyone actually gets this I would love to know because I haven't had any luck :( The name that he uses when he emails me is Mel........

Amy, the same thing happened to me but I was able to cancel the paypal payment after reading the comments from this board (Thanks everyone!)
You have to go in to your paypal account and look under details. Over to the right side where it usually says "Completed" I was able to select the cancel button. As you said, the guys name is Mel (Mel Flowers to be exact). He tried telling me after I cancelled that paypal protects you but I didn't have a good feeling about him. Good luck!

Hmmmm--I'll look again........ I'm thinking because I used a CC that it already went through and it won't let me cancel--unless I'm missing something. I looked all over the place last night trying to cancel and it didn't give me that option........ I'll have to look again.....

Well quite honestly I don't have the best luck when it comes to trades so I really don't bother trying anymore :( Either I don't have anything the person needs or they just flat out ignore me..... I just recently posted in the Rumours section that I would love to have the Mirage concert from Detroit but no one bothered to reply........ that is what usually happens unfortunately--so I usually just buy it and save myself the hassle..... :shrug:

I know a lot of people (myself included) have not been trading a lot lately. I kind of burned out after the SYW tour, plus my website was ruined (stupid Verizon) & I just don't have the time. Hope to get back into it soon.

You're better off contacting someone directly with a PM or email regarding a trade. If you post a thread & someone replies, then usually 20 other peeps reply "oh, can I have it too?" "Yeah, I want that!" It can be overwhelming. Several Ledgies have their websites listed in their sig, or in their public profiles so you can check out their ploicies, what they have to offer, etc.

I'm not judging you, I've had a few bad trades too, but I just hate to see fans get ripped off & others profit. :xoxo:

Some traders just flat out ignore me and aren't even nice enough to say sorry, too busy to trade right now. it really gets on my nerves.

I haven't been doing a lot of audio trading recently, with transfering, and retransfering a bunch of cassettes to CD for a fellow trader. Not that I get a lot of emails for trades anyway these days, but... :lol:
