I'm listening to the Philly boots and getting SOOOOO psyched!! I totally can't wait to see this show. Stevie sounds beautiful - and I really do love their two voices together...

She just called back during LIFE IN THE FAST LANE...he sounds great also...the crowd seems to be very into at PNC...

Just got off the phone with Dani, during intermission...she said Stevie had the skin tight pants on, and looks so hot..Dani said no "Desperado" tonight during Don's set..so either he cut it or it's gonna be at the end of Stevie's or something, which I doubt...

The poor thing, it has got to be tough opening for Henely and Nicks. They really do not even need an opening act. Why would they do that?

I wonder if it was Shannon McNally? She ROCKS. She was at PNC for the TISL show. She played outside the venue, though, where the food was. And she had a band. Rats, maybe it wasn't her tonight.

Yeah, it is a bit weird that they would have an opening act. It's not like they need one.

They did the Edge stage rush, she said she shook many hands, took gifts, etc..

She said she thought DESPERADO was gonna come on, cuz he said "be right back" and the lights were still dim, then the lights came up, then they went black again, then did that back and forth...then they stayed on..so sounds like there was a mix up or somethin

I'm looking at the front page of threads, and it's pretty cool how connected we are. Real time setlists, immediate answers to all the "big" questions, photos and reviews within moments of the concerts, audio and video by the following morning :laugh:. It's the next best thing to being there. Ledgies rock.

I am kind of glad she moved SDMHA, it doesn't work well live anymore. Get it over with in the beginning.

I can't believe they had an opening act :confused: Last night, the show was LONG--in fact, I don't think we got out of there until 11 or so (but my days and nights are all mixed up so who knows). Add an opening act and wow... that's quite the show. I do feel we're getting our monies worth--big time :nod:

could also be that there could have been the possibility that the concert went over the allotted time and they had to decide to end the concert to avoid having to pay overtime fees to the venue & local union stage hands :shrug:

geesh I remember the dark ages when we had to wait all the way til the end of the concert to know what songs were played :laugh:

Question for HenleyFan. Is Desperado like Rhiannon to you guys? (We all gripe that Stevie should drop Rhiannon and do something else instead because it has been played to death.) I'm a fan of Don's (own several Eagles albums and a couple of his solo records) but I've never seen him in concert without the Eagles unless he was a guest at a Stevie show. I'm guessing Desperado is a staple in his setlists. Assuming another song had been added in it's place (which was not the case tonight), would hardcore Don fans be glad, or pissed about the omission? Or does he do a pretty good job of mixing rarities into his sets already?

As much as I would like to see Stevie axe Rhiannon in favor of, say, Angel or something, I understand striking a balance between hits and underground faves is a challenge... her casual fans want to hear what they know from the radio -- Rhiannon, Dreams, and Edge of 17, kind of like if I was at tonight's show I'd be thinking "That's nice, but WTF is my Desperado?!" ;).
