No other versions?
 

I'm posting this here since it seems we have a lot more Stevie demos, alt. versions, masters, etc than Mac/LB. Are there any officially released songs for which there are no unofficial versions floating around?

The only song that really stands out for me as having nothing besides the studio version is I Don't Wanna Know.

So first of all, am I wrong? Does anyone have an alt. version or demo of this song? I haven't ever seen anything, but I'm not exactly an expert.

Secondly - can anyone think of another tune where there's nothing else available besides the album version?

Apparently there's an instrumental and an accapella version of IDWK. Damned if I knew.

This is a pretty good list of songs without alternates/outtakes.

I think the instrumental and acapella versions of "I Don't Wanna Know" might be the two versions that appear on the bootleg "Staying True" (2:32 & 3:03 respectively).

There is an alt/demo of Stand Back...I have one...will post this wkd as well as Violet and Blue (stand back demo sounds kinda like the album but there's a couple parts you will tell where it is different)

I also have a nightbird (full end lyric) version but I dont think anyone mentioned that on here...

I have that one, too, but it also has Are You Mine tacked onto it for some reason. Most of them only have subtle differences in the mixing to my ears or continue on past where the fade is on the album versions. Beauty and the Beast has some dude talking in French on my copy.

I wish there was a way to make this available for torrent. The one I have is about 90th generation and sounds like the chipmunks. :lol:

I have an outtake of Docklands. Instruments are sparse, the vocal an uninspired nasal drone. (Maybe she was really doing laundrey as she recorded it.) It makes the SA version sound like the music of angels. Really.
