I searched all over the internet for the pinguin, printed on the white FM album.
Does anyone have this pic in a good resulution. Check the example. It is the right pinguin. If you have it, please send it to me in an email

I have no tattoo's. I was wondering why you wanted the thread closed by the administrator. :confused: If we occasionally have a semi-heated discussion(not this thread, OBVIOUSLY), I personally don't want moderators deciding what we're allowed to discuss. Censorship is EVIL.

I want a Stevie related tattoo. What would her symbol be? I love the TISL dragon.

That's cool.

- So is the dragon and crystal ball from RAL.

- A tambourine, of course. Circle, or moon-shaped. With or without ribbons or carnations or roses with it.

- A winged heart.

- A top hat, maybe a top hat with a rose next to it.

- A lace design (like if doing an ankle-anklet tattoo, have it look like a thin, black lace anklet wrapped around your ankle.

- A silver spring, you know, like a bed spring or something, in silver. (just kidding)

- a crown on a rock (queen of rock). (kidding again. okay, I'll stop now).

Oh, one more idea - an ankle bracelet tattoo. A friend of mine couldn't decide what she wanted. She wanted maybe one of the anklet ones, that wraps around her who ankle. Or she wanted a crescent moon, or a celtic design, etc. So I suggested she could get the one that wraps around her ankle. She could even have it made to look like a chain. Then every now and then she could "add a charm" to it. Get a winged heart "charm" tattoo to "hang" off the tattoo ankle chain. Then a top hat sometime. Then a moon. Etc.

I don't have any tattoos but am thinking of getting one on my inner ankle. A personal symbol that's been a lot to me lately and helped me with its symbolism.

Good luck deciding! Show is pics when you get one done. I'd love tosee everyone's tattoos, Stevie-inspired, or not. They are fun to see.

First, i was asking. This has nothing to do with censur. I asked for something which i did. For me then, that's done. From that moment it only cost a lot of space on the harddisk from this server.

You may be right? Could this be a nice thread with a less normal issue like a tattoo or piercing. I'm proud beeing a FM fan. So i'll show it to anyone who wants to see it.
Stevie on the other hand is not so found of tattoo's. I remember a story in a newletter from the Dutch FM fanclub (1980?) , that a fan asked to sign an autograph on her arm, and she showed it a couple of days later to Stevie. She had tattoo'd it on her arm. La Nicks was pissed off. Why do you do that to your skin?? Stevie was outragious, she even yelled to the girl.
I guess she doesn't see the adoration. That is huge.
So Homer, maybe after all, this could be a good discussion!!!!!!

I got one on my upper left arm of the Penguin tipping its top hat with the cane under its wing. Then I had the guy put FLEETWOOD MAC underneath it in the exact style that it's written on the Rumours cover. Everyone I've shown it to likes it. I was trying to think what would be a tasteful tatoo, and I settled on the penguin because I wanted something universal I guess. :)

btw, I think I remember that same story from a dutch fanzine though, early 90s (Affairs of the Heart? do you know it?)

You did it, Will. I'm walking around with this idea for nearly 20 years now, and never really dared to. It's a beauty. I'm jealous. Now someone 30 km from my front door walks around with my tattoo. Weird.

I just got my 7th tattoo yesterday. No pics of it yet, but I attached a scan of the image. I got it on my left forearm.

Oh my God we have the SAME tattoo!!! Except mine is all black, not that nifty green color.

Cool! We (the artist and myself) were trying to get the feel of the green/yellow background on the GH cover. I've actually considered having it filled in with black for a more tribal look...
