Plastic Surgery
Why do people have so much plastic surgery that they don't even resemble human beings anymore? It makes me mad that millions of dollars have been invested to tranform Michael Jackson into an ugly white woman from Mars. I also don't get why Joan Rivers and Goldie Hawn and Meg Ryan and that has been from the Gastineau Girls want to look like freak shows. Plastic surgery is fine if it is good work and is not overly excessive, but why do people pay good money to look like something... not of this world!
I am starting to get scared for Ryan Seacrest because he looks like he has had some work done and he is only thirty! Can you imagine what he will look like when he is fifty? He won't be able to close his eyes! He looks great now but it is obvious he has had some work done, I think. Lots of Botox, maybe? People say that Stevie has had some plastic surgery... I say more power to her because she looks beautiful and if she has had anything done it is extremely subtle and higfh class work. Madonna may have had something done... well who cares? She looks great and resembles a human still. But someone like Cher I think would look better if she had less plastic surgery (even if it did make her look older). I guess I am just saying that I don't understand how people can go so overboard that they end up looking a hundred times worse then before. I am not saying that I disagree with cosmaetic surgery (I would maybe even do it if I felt the urge) but I think there needs to be a limit of some kind. The doctors need to cut some of their patients off before they reach Michael Jackson territory. So what do you think of plastic surgery? :wavey: PS: Sorry I am blowing off some steam. I just saw some horrible pictures of Lisa Gastineau and have no idea why she would do that to herself. |
Ryan Seacrest is whoreanus, plastic surgery or no plastic surgery. He resembles a used car salesman from Detroit who just discovered a flat-iron and got his teeth capped. And you failed to mention Loretta Switt and Jocelyn Wyldenstein (who can also be confused for Priscilla Presley these days)!
I've been saying it for ages, but if some of these people ar epulled any tighter, their mouths will open the next time they cross their legs. Meg "Troutlips" Ryan is just disgusting to look at, whereas with Joan Rivers, it's part of her schtick and you get accustomed to it. She has to have that surgery yearly or else she just won't be Joan Rivers. Quite honestly, I'm more worried about those anorexic fetuses that are all over the boob tube. Water and Altoids is not a healthy diet. Grow some fat cells, people. |
How about Burt Reynolds? The press he is getting for his "slap heard around the world" shows how bad his plastic surgery has been to him. He's tight.

Why is Stevie Nicks Number 8 on the "Rumored to use Botox" List?

Meg looks awful and it makes me so sad. Women's lips get thinner as they age so I understand the inclination to puff them up a little. You don't need to insert entire worms in there though, nastay. :distress: By the way, I love this subject, it has always fascinated me to no end and I could talk about it all day. We can do the "rip her to shreds thing". Stevie's had work, which I didn't notice until it was mentioned in the fan community, and that is weird cuz I usually notice EVERYTHING. But she definitely has a good surgeon and has done the right things because she looks gorgeous, human, and mature. Personally I think mature looking is more attractive than nubile but that may be because of my advancing age or something. ;-) I just like the wisdom that appears along with it and think that is so sexy. |

Also, I've always thought Kim Catrell from Sex and the City was super sexy, but always looked her age. You could tell she was in her forties, but she still looked hotter then her thirty something friends. If she has had any work done it was very subtle also. What I find disturbing is when someone starts to look like they are from a different world. |

Does anyone know when Lisa Rinna had work done? I'm not sure if I've seen any before pictures. Now I wonder what she looked like. |

I think she's had work done, you get no argument from me on that one. Look at her a la Street Angel and then look at her on The Dance. Anyone who says that's simply the result of losing some weight and good rest is so full of **** that it's probably dribbling down their chin as they speak. |
Besides the ones already mentioned, I think Marie Osmond's job looks terrible. So does Katie Couric's.

Okay, yeah - I agree with you, basically. |

I got a kick out of how Couric kept trying to cover up her brow lift with that hairdo of hers. It was hilarious how she'd adjust her bangs every 3.2 seconds to make sure that nothing was visible. |

Thanks for posting that, Christopher. Oh my.
She didn't look like that when she was on "Days," did she? I didn't remember her lips being quite that big and unnatural looking! |
I think God, er, Oprah has had a massive amount of plastic surgery in the past two years. The fact that she tries to pass off those abs and that freshened face as natural is an insult to my intelligence.

No one has mentioned Farah Fawcett yet .Her face looks like it has been pulled in several directions and she still looks old.She is a year older than Stevie and looks far older and has had more work done as well. There is alot to be said for genetics and avoiding sun bathing which Stevie pretty much did after 30 and Farah has not.I think Stevie's face was smoothed for the Dance video in the same way it was for the Destiny Rules doc.I will give Stevie this though, for the life she has led she looks great for 57 .I just wonder how much of it is genetics though .Chris Nicks has looked like hammered f#*k for years now.

Yup. Airbrushed. If you ever see her during her show, you can see a lil belly roll. I dunno what she is trying to prove with her lies. |
I agree with the ones already mentioned. Robert Redford looks scary too, IMO.

I was flipping through the channels yesterday afternoon, and came across 'The Bold And The Beautiful.' I used to watch it, but haven't seen it in years.
Anyway, Hunter Tylo (who played Taylor Hayes) is back from the dead (she had died back when I was watching, which was AGES ago, so I don't know if she came back, died again, and came back again, or what. ) and she's had TONS of work done. She's far skinnier now than when I watched, but her breasts are three times larger than they used to be. She's had her nose done, as it's thinner than it used to be, too. And she's had her lips done -- giving her that duckbill upper-lip look. I think I'd rather look old and wrinkled, than artificial. |
Has anyone mentioned Cher yet? As much as I hate to say it, I don't like a lot of things about her face these days. Well, she has been looking that way for quite awhile, it seems. I was watching one of my Cher DVDs the other day and it went from the video for "If I Could Turn Back Time" to one of the videos from '96, and it was very obvious that she had had something done between those videos. I just wonder what she would've looked like if she'd just let herself age naturally. I'm willing to bet I would've still found her attractive.

I saw Paul Newman on Letterman the other night, and I thought he looked magnificent. He's aged like a fine wine. |
