vegas concert moments that sent shivers!!!

How about hearing her say "Well, I came all the way here just to watch you walk out that door!!!!!!!!"

Shivahhhhh! :D

that was an awesome part of my Saturday show...she tore that song up Saturday night.

the part that truly gives me chills is the part of BATB where she says "sometimes she says, ahhhhHHHHHHH" - I miss the 'la bete' part but that part makes me want to cry.

I think Stevie should steal Cher's line "Follow this you bitches!" lol

I know - I just wanna send that video to brittany and her ilk along with a pad and pen and a note that says "take notes you wannabees because this is how a true talent does it"

All of B&tB on Tues.

B&tB Wed at "I'll change" and the yell.

IAF during the accapella harmonies (although the rest of the songs was just OK, IMO.)

The little bit of effort she made with Beauty & Beast - candelabra, and all - gave me chills - well, it was really the thought of what she COULD do with a Vegas show and that was just a tiny little hint of the potential that exists in bringing her songs to life on stage. :wavey: Let me at them, Stevie, please!!!!

Totally! That moment was incredible! That whole song. Beauty and the Beast was truly THE SONG of those shows.

Shivahhhhh! :D

 Also, during "Fall From Grace" at the end (the "maybe I am calmer now" part) where she changed it up and notched her vocal up high. She RIPPED it!!

Also, for some reason the quiet "Rhiannon" intro from these shows was tingly, too.

The end of "Outside the Rain" !!!!!!!!

Jeez, whatta great show....

Ya know I was loathe to hear it, but that horse went from lame to a gallop overnight in my mind

Did you notice what was draped across the piano? The coat and hat from the Timespace tourbook. I could see it clearly. Oh how I wish she had walked over and donned that outfit!!!

Yes  Or how about "Don't try this at home because you will neva eva have the grandeur that is Stevie Nicks!"

Moments: BATB, when she ad libbed "or at least I'm trying to change." I always feel when Stevie sings a song, she's singing it in present day and feeling every note and word. It's not like she wrote it 20 years ago but it takes on a freshness every single time. I love her ad libs!

Was that the night she said "everything's fine" instead of "maybe things are fine?"

jkmaletic 05-19-2005 04:16 PM

I got shivers (well, nervously surprised) when I noticed I felt something soft, and I looked down and I was holding her forearm!! Nice velvet too.
Anyway, I immediately let go cause I didn't want her to think I was grabbing her or anything. :p

So many but here are a few - the "baby baby baby" during GDW, all of Fall from Grace and Sorcerer (I especially enjoyed singing along to this less-known songs), her whole vibe during HSML because that is the first song she did when I made it up to the stage and was standing directly in front of her in shock, all of BATB. IAF was great too, it was all great. You know I keep hearing people talk about the screens - I rarely glanced at the screens because my eyes were on her the entire time. I barely looked at the band members or the girls. The entire focus of the night was Stevie. I barely took my eyes off her for a second. It's as if there was no one else in the room...

No big. I started randomly tearing up lots of times, cause, you know, it was Stevie's voice, and she was right there, and I was seeing it. :D Also from the cocktails...

BTFLCHLD 05-19-2005 05:37 PM

last weekend when i awoke to breakfast in bed...
from the living room i could hear "storms"...
i cried happy tears...and smiled like this :D

That's when I got the shivers... hair standing up and everything. I was already bawling way before that... like not long after the intro.

i think i got the chills when the plane landed and i looked over at matt and just kind of screamed 'ohmygodwe'reheretoseestevienicksahhhhhhhhhhhh'...

it's no surprise, but the whole 'i've changed, or at least i-i'm trying to change...' was probably the most poignant thing i've evah heard.

oh, and tuesday she whispered 'sor.ce.rah' before giving a kick-ass performance of it.

and then there's the moment of all moments: stevie, stevie, standing in front of me, reaching out to take my hand in hers, covering my hand with hers, looking at me, smiling at me, giving that extra little squeeze, and then nodding as she moved onto the next adoring fan...

That's the way I was in Camden, I couldn't take my eyes off her and I was at the stage right in front of her mike - how wonderful for you to be so close! :blob2:

I remember feeling that way too. The Vegas shows were my first solo shows! Still can't believe I saw her and held her damn hand twice!!!

SapphireSister 05-20-2005 01:25 PM

I just remembered something!! Ok so I was up at the very front by the stairs and when the first few notes of BATB started before she came out I said to the people around me, "OMG is it BATB, is she going to do BATB?" and the security guard sitting in front of me who was obviosly not a Stevie fan said "Yep, it's BATB" and it was the cutest thing ever because I know he wasn't a fan yet he had heard it the last few nights and all the fans talking about it so he knew. I said to him "Wow, I'm impressed. You must be a true fan ;)".
