Oh God, I'm as old as Star Wars

And Rumours.

It's funny when you think of yourself that way.

I first saw Star Wars while in my mom's tummy. She saw it at 19 while she was still pregnant with me.

What are you as old as??

I'm as old as Star Wars and Rumours, too. 1977 was a great year.

~The very first time I saw Star Wars was when they re-released it in the theaters for the 20th anniversary. I thought that was cool.

In Australia 88 was a big year because it was the Bicentenary but there was nothing of international note really.
Everyone born in 88 got special certificates, I think I have lost mine though.

Ok, so YOU feel old?

I'm as old as "Johnny B. Goode". Just a few months younger than Disneyland. Dwight D. Eisenhower was President. Cars had FINS & chrome bumpers; V8 engines were the standard and cars didn't come with seatbelts. Gasoline was only 25 cents a gallon. There were only 48 states in the USA. And, we were allies with Cuba. The BROOKLYN Dodgers were the reigning World Champions of baseball.

And, to put it in FMac perspective...Danny Kirwan was only 5 years old.

CreepingDeath 05-13-2005 01:56 PM

I'm as old as The Wild Heart.
