I just noticed there are over 2700 members on the ledge. I think that breaks down to:


20 really active members
50 Kinda active members
2630 Lurkers.

If every member bought a ticket, we could have a private Ledgie concert in Las Vegas. Now THAT would be scarey! :nod:

I wish a lot more of those lurkers would say something periodically. Nothing personal, but I get tired of the same 20 people month after month (of course, it's not their fault).

I wish this place were a big, teeming cauldron of hundreds of different conversations & conversationalists -- with 45 different cliques of various sizes all mixing & swimming around like tadpoles in a brackish mountain lake.

That would be great. But don't you only talk to, like, 4 people on here anyways? just saying. :laugh:

I guess I'm one of those semi-active Ledgies. I usually only get on the Ledge at work, and I'm constantly called away. Damn work :mad: And I lose threads a lot, too. :p Ah well, it's still fun to be here, though.

Good point. Sometimes I'm afraid to jump in on a conversation, which of course is retarded b/c it's a forum. But, you know. :o

It's kind of like cold water. I just jumped in. Luckily, I only lurked for like, five seconds before I said something. In that way, I didn't really know that everyone already knew each other, really, before I started talking. At first, lots of people ignored me, but not everyone. Jump right in! :D
