White Album Survivor Round 1 and 2
 

I thin this is the only of the Rumours era albums we havent done survivor for (well Mirage too but who cares about tha one :laugh: ) but I love the white album so much and really feel it should have a Survivor. So Im running this one and in the RIGHT forum Amber :p Voting will end at 11 PM eastern time daily abd round 1 will be a little bit longer then the rest ending Tomorrow at 11.

Just so you know, I didn't feel survivor contained any important news or anything, I thought it was very chit chatty, and I put it in that thread on purpose. :wavey:

Oh, and I vote to get rid of Warm Ways. I can't even really listen to that song. I totally forgot it is on there. :laugh:

I like Christine's stuff on here, there's only one song I ever even think about skipping on this CD and it's probably because I associate with Mick and the most boring drum solo of all time:

I know it doesn't seem fair to the studio version and that the song bridges the gap between blues era mac and rumours era mac, but I just' can't listen to the song.

I'll start with "Warm Ways" to be gone..

I can't believe all of the anti-Sugar Daddy sentiment! It's, to my way of thinking, one of the three or four best songs on the record! And it's among my favorites of the entire band catalogue. How could you not like that bluesy music and those clearly ironic lyrics?

I'd vote off "I'm So Afraid." I agree with a former observation that the studio version doesn'd do justice to the live performances of the song.

Me neither! Like, I really, really, really don't understand it. Really. :confused: It's all fast and fun, has a good beat, and the words are funny. But, I guess no one understands why certain people don't like certain songs they like... :p

I'm gonna go with "Warm Ways."
Very pretty song, but if I'm going to skip anything on the album when I'm listening, it's going to be that one.

I'm a big fan of "Sugar Daddy"... though it probably won't be long before I'll be voting for it, too, since the competition on this album is very stiff.

I would like to vote off Sugar Daddy. Most of the songs on this album are great, and it's just not.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: he sounds like someone is tweaking his balls and it's.just.so.boring.

"Warm Ways" It is a little bit on the boring side. :shrug:
