What Stevie song is your LEAST favorite on Tusk?
I think that Stevie's songs on Tusk represent her greatest Fleetwood Mac effort. Since I love each one of her songs on there, it's hard for me to decide which song I like the least. So I was just curious what everyone's opinion is.
I voted for Angel. I love the lyrics and I love its rockin' vibe, but compared to the others, I decided it is my least favorite. |
Sara. My favorite is Angel. But I like them all, very much.
|
I can't vote...it's too hard!
|
Sara, but I like them all a lot.

"Angel" and "Storms" both stink to the highest heaven! :p

Angel is my least favorite but I still like it. And my heart is aching for all the Sara hating. :( I think I'll manage to survive though. :)

My fave is "Sara" closely followed by "Angel." I also think that these tracks represent some of her best efforts with FM (also her three on Mirage), so it's hard to pick a least favorite. I find them all enthralling, but I chose "Sisters of the Moon." I love the lyrics, the music, the vocals--everything, but I don't listen to it as much as the others, and I find it much harder to relate to than the others. The other four remind me of some event or even some major theme in my life but "Sisters of the Moon" seems to be much more personal to Stevie and then obviously not so universal as the others.

I voted for storms, just because I could never got into the song.
I prefer Angel on Stevies solo version MUSICALLY more than Fleetwood Mac's but performance wise it doesnt beat stevies solo version. Jimmy |

I have the usual favourites, "Landslide", "Crystal", "Silver Springs", "Sara", "Beautiful Child", "Gypsy", most of Bella Donna and The Wild Heart, the better half of Rock A Little (for some reason I've always had a soft spot for the title track of that album). And so on. Sorry to be disappointing. ;) |

Who said I thought it was her BEST, its my favorite. Theres a big difference. Get your facts stright before posting. |

But Sharon did ask you. She didn't just declare it to be etched in stone and the single, ultimate truth or anything. I didn't think she was trying to imply that you were wrong, just different, is decidedly a good thing in my book. |

I don't think there's anything wrong with thinking it's her best though. |

Thanks Amber, I love you too :( :distress: :distress:

I went with Sara, although it was really hard to decide.
BTW - Angel was done by Stevie solo on the Bella Donna Tour and at Us Fest 1983. I believe it was taken out of the setlist for TWH tour after that show, though. |

She also did it in Buffalo, NY and Hartford, CT. Of all people I thought you would know that Paula. :p |
I voted for Sisters... never got on with it :distress: I'm not keen on Storms or Angel either, but then I'm not a Stevie fiend to be honest :woohoo:
I do quite like the other two, and her Mirage and White Album songs... in fact I might have to say that her Tusk songs are among my least favourites :( God, and here I am listening to Behind The Mask :distress: |

My guess was that her set was too long. For that tour she was touring for months unlikethe short Bella Donna Tour. She also dumped Enchanted, which I thought she should have kept to promote the album more. I think it did great with the audiences because she kept it all throughout the tusk tour. |

Forgive me Jimmy? But I wasn't being mean, honest. :o |

I love Behind the Mask, I think its a great CD. Right now im listening to the very best of FM. |
I picked Storms. It never was a favorite of mine.

Thats ok Sharon. I think its cool that I have an unusual favorite. I think its unique in a way. |

I agree, although I find the lyrics to Sara extremely confusing. But I think the one line from SOTM, "So we make our choices, when there is no choice" is probably one of her greatest lyrics of all time. Easily relatable, imo, and so true. |

I remember buying Rooms On Fire as a 7" single before TOSOTM came out, and Alice was the B-side and playing them both to death. Ah, seems so long ago now :( Happy times! |
