I was thinking today about all the ways Stevie is connected to Vegas hotels. Here's what I came up with just off the top of my pretty little head :angel: :

Stevie is playing Caesars in May

Imperial Hotel - Imperial Palace

"...Paris to Rome, London to Paris..." - Paris Hotel & Casino

Mirage the album - Mirage the hotel

"...in silence she says, Excalibur..." - Excalibur Hotel

"...I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure...." - Treasure Island

Stevie & Mac played at MGM Grand

Stevie has played at Aladdin

"...her name is Rio and she dances on the sand..." - Rio Hotel...oh, wait, that's not Stevie, is it? :p

Never thought of it all that way... But I guess there are alot of word connections with Vegas.

I thought of more, but I was really stretching ;) . So I figured I'd just do the hotel ones.

I hear that! Wait 'til you see the shoes I did get though! I had to limit myself to one pair which was REALLY hard in DSW.

Why do I remember seeing only thousands of pairs of shoes that I didn't want when I went to DSW??? Anyway - what do they look like? can't you post a pic? Ha, I'm gonna head to Payless to see if I can find any shoes, then give up and go with what I have. Last year, I got my favorite shoes that I've ever had there. :eek: They were just flat cross strap (brown with designs) thongs, with a separate first toe strap, but they were so cute, so simple, so comfy, etc., that I loved them. Of course, I wore them constantly and so one of the toe straps broke....maybe they'll have them again, though...
But I'm just looking for cute walk around sandal thongs right now, not anything dressy or to wear with my outfits. :shrug:

Payless sucks this year. Well, at least in size 8 they do. All the cute shoes were in size 5 or 10.

crap. I should have had those repaired, I loved them so much. :(

They're gold sandals with a gold sequin/beaded butterfly on top. I don't know why on earth you wouldn't find something in DSW? Maybe you still didn't like their prices because they carry the high end stuff. However, their clearance rocks. You can get some sweet deals. I put back some shoes that were 80% off the marked down price because I just didn't "need" them. Damn budget. They were so cute though. But the ones that I got are just so Vegas.

I either end up with 5 pairs I like at DSW, or none. Last time it was none. :distress:

I have a feeling that I will end up with none, too. I am not having any luck with finding clothes or shoes that I like. I might have to go to the dreaded Wal-Mart to look for a few things. :rolleyes:

Have you checked Old Navy?

No, I can never find anything that I like in that place. I think Wal-Mart might be my best bet, sadly.

Awww. I'm lucky, I'm going with my two long black tank dresses, and my 3 skirticus style skirts, 2 black, one brown. w/pink. I'm so adventurous with my colors, aren't I? Low stress - get multiples of any shape/color that flatters you, and get ONLY that.... :laugh:

Just to add another:
Outside pool bar at Imperial Palace is called "Shangri-La"

The Imperial Palace also has celebrity look a like card dealers they call "Dealatainers". They have a Stevie Nicks one.

Like I've said before, Canada gets the shaft!!! :( Except somehow we got Fleetwood Mac in Calgary. That was insane! That kinda stuff NEVER happens! That show was pure magic! :nod:

Omigod, I totally want those, and I don't even wear shoes like that!!!!! *can i try them on?* :laugh: Those are gorg! My feet are really wide, and I uh, walk roughly, and those tiny heels scare me, so that's why I don't get shoes like that. Those kick sooooo much ass, though.

Thank you. :D The tiny heels aren't bad, it's just like walking on your tip toes. These shoes actually have rubber soles so they will be good for running around the strip.

OMG, I was going to post the exact same thing! :laugh: They are hot shoes, though. Once again wishing she could walk in heels.

Oh and I say after Margaritaville we storm the Imperial Palace & demand our dealer-tainer be the Stevie impersonator!
