That's pretty expensive. And that's my birthday. :p

ShangriLaTroubl 04-09-2005 05:31 PM

Are prices at Atlantic City usually more expensive than the other shows? Lord I hope so!

Chris

gldstwmn 04-09-2005 07:02 PM

Jesus H. Christ. That's worse than I thought it would be.

WelshWitchPMD 04-09-2005 07:35 PM

AC is more but if that is the going price then the other venues will be almost $200.00. If this is true then this bill is sure to be a bomb.

Vegas seems like a deal, now.

glitter_fades 04-09-2005 07:54 PM

NO FREAKIN WAY.

Who's crazy enough to pay that?

estranged4life 04-09-2005 07:57 PM

Thank God...

I trade for DVD's, I aint paying that amount to see ANYONE in concert...I hope it is only the price for that big-ripoff town known as Ass-Lantic ****ty, I meant Atlantic City

MacMan 04-09-2005 08:01 PM

Apparently the venue that they are going to be playing in seats about 3,700 peeps.

I am not going to pay that, either! I don't care where they play either.

I think that The Mac was about $150.00 for AC. There other shows were about $125.00. I am going to say that the average price for this tour will be abour $175.00 before the TM fees.

This is going to be one long, boring summer.

dissention 04-09-2005 08:29 PM

How obscene. I think this a sign that retirement is near.

I guess this is why she was reluctant to tour with The Mac this summer. We get this instead.

seeker007nmss 04-09-2005 08:55 PM

I hope Stevie doesn't go on the "Rhinstone Cape Tour " Alla Elvis and do nothing but high priced summer shows and Vegas.

"Stevie has left the building"..............

GypsySorcerer 04-09-2005 09:20 PM

Outrageous! I can't wait to miss it.

sodascouts 04-09-2005 09:21 PM

No way. This can't be right. It's just not good business - no one would pay that!

no_spoken_word 04-09-2005 09:25 PM

Jeez, those prices would make Mick Fleetwood himself blush!

GardenStateGirlie 04-09-2005 09:25 PM

Dear Stevie, Don and the asshole that thought people would pay this much to buy tickets.

YOU'RE NOT LIVIN' IN THE REAAAL WOOOOORLD!

No Love,
Everyone.

Irving Azoff, maybe?
Stevie's management should be flogged for allowing this to happen.

catinthedark 04-09-2005 09:37 PM

That's just disgusting. Outrageous and disgusting. And just so disappointing to those of us who are real fans (the diehard fans) who will defend her to the end... but who can't afford b*llsh*t like that.

Lordy. I guess somebody's counting on all those fans who'd pay to see Stevie read the phone book as long as she wears the right shawl.

:] :] :] :]

It's possible.

Apparently, Stevie's right...we're not all lying around, smoking dope, waiting to see what the number one record is going to be. We're lying around anticipating to get screwed big time :distress:

It's disgusting...casino or not. I wouldn't pay this much to see anyone...not even Stevie 45 minutes away from my house. Unless I win tickets or someone gives them to me for free, i'm not going anywhere.

Oh, and I don't doubt people will go into debt to follow her around with Don. I wasn't too jazzed she was touring with him to begin with and now? i'm really not jazzed.

They must think we're on the floor smokin crack.

If I won those tickets I'd be selling em as fast as I could to pay off my daughter's prom dress. Not all of us have delinquent children.
Some have prom queens who needed expensive orthodontia. Where are those phone book people when you need to sell a pair of tickets?

Sounds to me like she wants to buy out of her deal but is trying to make all she can before she buys it out which would mean she's being pressured from somewhere. I wonder how much she would stand to loose if she did buy out?

I have no idea.

Farrah 04-09-2005 09:57 PM

Ouch. It took me 2 days to win that much at the 3-card poker table last time I was in AC. I really want to go, but unless I find somebody who gets comped at the Borgata, ouch.

Did they add the $3.50 for effect or something?

I wouldn't pay that much to see her if she let me choose the setlist.

They must be out of their minds if they honestly think that people have that much disposable income hanging around to line their pockets and fill a venue with. This is going to bomb and rightfully so. I think I'll save my couple hundred bucks and try to fill up my gas tank.

I don't even think crack would make us that delusional.

Good luck finding potential buyers for the most expensive nostalgia trip of the year. I'll stick to VH1 Classics, thanks.

I have a My Borgata card (it's not mine, it's my grandmothers boyfriend). FM would have been comped for me but he hadn't been there that month. Tickets for FM were a hell of a lot cheaper than this so i'm wondering if they'll even comp unless you're a serious high roller.

Apparently 3 is the magic number...yes?

Music really is such a dirty business. As much as I like to rag on Stevie, I hope she's not being pulled like a wishbone.
I want to think there's a method to her madness. Getting back in the studio with FM, ASAP?

Otherwise, there's such a thing as saying NO or ENOUGH!
