What do you hate the most?

I am procrastinating about doing housework and wondered what everyone hated to clean the most. Mine is bathroom grout. zzzzzzzzzz :p

amber 03-24-2005 04:32 PM

Dishes, Dishes, Dishes. But that's not what I hate the most, it's what I hate to clean the most.

ryan8472 03-24-2005 04:35 PM

Floors :p What a pain in the ass to clean. Tho I'm sure bathrooms are way more atrocious than floors...

In general though, I hate homework more than anything else in the world.

Lisa1769 03-24-2005 04:35 PM

Easy......I hate sorting and folding the whites!!! I try not to be to picky, but I just can't help myself. The socks have to match to a tee....the exact coloring, you know how some can get a little dingey looking or some have a little more stretch, I cant mix em, this simple process will take me an hour.

I don't mind doing dishes too much. It's soothing at times....Just me and the dishes. And I can take my anger out of them too, if they're really dirty. :p Plus, I get paid to do it a lot.

mondaymornin1 03-24-2005 04:38 PM

I HATE to mop. I'll clean the toilet, dust, sweep, etc. But I loathe mopping. Maybe it's 'cuz you SHOULD move everything off the floor before you mop it, and that in itself is a huge pain in my ass.

So that's what I hate to clean the most....

But right now, what I hate the most is....finding out that I have to work tomorrow when I thought I was going to be off!

Please pass me some cheese to go with my wine....

 Oh yeah, I'm like that too. And my hubbie, bless his heart, is WONDERFUL about throwing clothes into the washing machine and then into the dryer. But that's where his help usually stops. And it seems that he's washing clothes EVERY DAY lately, so you can imagine what my laundry room floor looks like right now...piles of clean white socks....crap.

madformac 03-24-2005 04:44 PM

I just finished cleaning the bathroom about an hour ago, I REALLY love cleaning in and around the toilet

Barf. Dishes are so dirty and gross. And your hands get all wet. (well, I wear gloves, but still) and your left arm gets all tired from holding the stuff while you scrub it with your right hand...*bleah!* Although, it's probably not so many people's least favorite, because they have dishwashers. I don't have one.
I really like doing laundry, though... :)

I have a dishwasher.... But I've never used it, stupid I know... I actually prefer to wash by hand and I don't dislike washing dishes really..

I do however hate laundry, now more than ever as I'm looking at a good 7 washerloads of clothes I need to wash tonight.... :(

Hmmm..what kids don't leave a trail of destruction behind them? I suppose the answer would be to get THEM to clean as they go....
Perhaps your overseas friend might like to press the washing machine button for you every now and then too :D

I've shown him how it works but it's probably the fact he's used to paying other people to do it where he's from and the fact he can't be a-r-s-e-d as he's over here on a "total vacation"

Bathrooms after guests leave!!!!!!!!!!

I'm obsessive about keeping it pristine, so I have *fits* after people who don't know how to aim properly leave.

For over almost $400, those Dysons had better be made of gold.

So when you're done, give him a bill.

I hate vaccuming and mopping because the bending can hurt my back. But my roommate is beginning to hate me because I never do these things. Dammit.

ontheEdgeof17 03-24-2005 05:51 PM

I hate:

-know-it alls

-people who are unprofessional in their work environment

-gas prices

-Nursing exams

-when a CD skips

chiliD 03-24-2005 06:07 PM

Where to start:

Facists

Gasoline prices

Conservative Republicans (generally)

The current US Federal Government Administration

The current California governor

Theme park admission prices

Concert prices

CD prices

Hip-hop/Rap

Gangs

Bigots/Racists

People who mistreat animals/Animal Poachers

Animal control officers who kill instead of tranquilize

Backstabbing co-workers & bosses

Two-faced &/or Narrow-minded people

Modern "conveniences" that don't work properly

Hangnails

Muscle aches & bone joint pain

Lotto numbers drawn that don't match the ones on my Lotto ticket

Watered down mixed drinks

And, that the Buckingham Nicks album is not officially released on CD

wondergirl9847 03-24-2005 06:08 PM

I friggin HATE washing clothes and then putting them away. Most of the time, I'll just leave them in there for like 2, sometimes 3 days. My dad says "Hey, are you gonna do a two day wash?" We hardly eat at home, so washing dishes is rare too. LOL Cleaning the bathroom is okay, especially since I turn the radio on and jam out. LOL

GypsySorcerer 03-24-2005 06:13 PM

I hate all cleaning. Ugh.

Cleaning the bathroom! Ugh. I. Hate. It. Dirty mirrors is a huge pet peeve.

I'm really obsessive with everything being clean all the time though. I can't fall asleep unless the house is spotless. I'm sure it drives people crazy.

Nice! Forgot to mention that I hate laundry now because of having to lug it up and down 3 flights and either into the car or walk it down the street to the laundromat. But I never minded it when I had a washer. When I finally have one again, I will never ever complain about having to do laundry!

Janet 03-24-2005 07:20 PM

Cleaning is soothing to me. When I get REALLY mad, I start cleaning and sometimes I won't even realize it!

But I do hate folding laundry. I have to be in the mood. When I am tired or after work, I just leave clothes in the dryer. One by one I take what I need out and it's just terrible!!

bikerchic 03-24-2005 07:24 PM

Who else lives out of laundry baskets? My clothes never get put away and the rare time that I might actually put them away, my husband & kids don't even know to look in their drawers, they're looking around for the laundry baskets.

Yeah, me, a lot. I come back from the laundry mat, and I"m like, "put them away, or their gonna be all wrinkly!" then they'll sit for a week....

That's one of the few cleaning type of things I'm willing to do with any consistency. For some reason, I get annoyed with myself if I don't put up my clothes. I hate everything else and avoid it if I can. I'm thinking about that Pringles can that stayed under my bed for an entire semester about a year ago.  I hate cleaning the bathroom, too, but it has to be done at some point.

Vianna 03-24-2005 10:28 PM

Making beds! I have always hated that. Don't mind dishes too much. Not wild about laundry, either. Vacuuming's not a problem-has to be done everyday because of the cats so it doesn't get ahead of me. Now today I cleaned the refrigerator-that's not a pleasant job either..

tuigirl 03-25-2005 11:46 AM

on the laundry theme..I hate ironing! We also live out of a laundry basket and only when it gets too big to shove under the table (it's only a small one, not a big dining one!) do I make a point of getting out the iron and doing a spot of work..yes, thats a pet peeve, other cleaning dosn't bother me much, altho I'm not too fussed on doing the oven either.

Me too cuz it's constant..."it's nevahending"...

Bathroom grout. eeewwwww.

One chore I secretly kind of like doing is laundry. I have no idea why either.

I hate it when tall people stand in front of me at rock shows. I always get a 7 footer right smack in front of me. HATE IT!!!
