I wonder if the vegas shows will go to dvd?
 

for people (like me) who won't be making the trip out there.

I hope so. I am thinking since Lori and Waddy will be there it gives us a good chance for a dvd. That and also how she will be performing different songs, changing outfits, more spins etc.

I'd love to have this one in my collection! I bet it's going to be so awesome! :woohoo:

Is Celine or Elton's show on DVD?

I don't think so because they run constantly, Stevie's thing seems to be a one time only thing.

Celine was supposed to release a dvd of the show in the fall, but then she signed on for another year, and I'm assuming it's been put off. I'm sure both her and Elton will put out a dvd once their run is done. Celine had a live cd in the fall of the show - nothing from Sir Elton yet.

I think it would be a perfect thing for Stevie to have a dvd. It's not like everyone that wanted to go could fit in the place. Even if she sells all the seats all 4 nights, that's only a little over 16,000 people, like an arena full... A dvd or even a live cd of the show... It would be so great and I'm sure the venue is totally equipt to record such things.

I am thinking/hoping Stevie Nicks~Dreams will be released as a live CD and dvd. That would be soo cool

I'd even settle for an HBO special again but clearly, not going to happen. DVD would be amazing since it seems this is going to be a lot more elaborate than her touring shows.

You're right Celine was a tv special when she first opened... But I don't think it was a dvd. I could be wrong, but it would be bad marketing to put out a dvd at the beginning of a run.

I think it looks fairly obvious from Stevie's comments that this Vegas thing could turn out to be a semi permanent substitute type gig. She did say that it would be a perfect scenario for her as she became a little old lady. Based on her comments and some other reliable info, I do think she will play Vegas several times a year or so while Celine and Elton are on vacation. That is why I doubt it will be officially released on dvd.

But she also said in the interview last night that she'll be out touring for "many months." If this tour will basically be in suport of a greatest hits package (anyone hear anything about that lately?) then maybe a DVD is possible tp go along with it. :shrug:

The Vegas DVD was slated for release last fall. It never came out. I dunno if it is being released this year or not.

I know the Madonna Reinvention Tour DVD is coming out this fall. :blob2: Gawd, that show was amazing.

This is what I've been thinking all along.....God, please let one of these shows come out on DVD. It sounds like this might be something different than what we're all used to from a Stevie show. Maybe she's going to shake things up a little! Exciting!!

If it's not being released, then perhaps I can pay a wonderful Ledgie who is going and recording video and/or audio to send me a copy?? Or if anyone gets ahold of a copy, to make one for me. Pretty please! Yes I did say pay!!! I would even do that, I don't care! It would still be cheaper than somebody who's currently still unemployed (yes, me) trying to get plane tickets, concert tickets and accomodations in Vegas at this point!!

I'm praying that this show is released on DVD, she's wearing the white outfit, i mean c'mon, that's like an event! I'm considering selling my soul to anyone who bootlegs the video of this :shrug:

It would be impossible to bootleg a video of this. It is a very intimate setting and there is no way someone could bring their video camera in there and get away with it. Our ojnly hope is that the powers that be record it and we get a hold of it some how.

I am, however, confident that we will hear audio bootlegs and see photographs from the event. I myself am going to try and record an audio bootleg of the show using the recorder on my MP3 player.

I disagree. I have seen people sneak in stuff right past the biggest security bulldogs. This one girl had a recorder in her hat and I think she could film from there as well. So, hopefully something will surface. Plus, I am sure La Nicks will record every night for notes for the band. So, maybe those will surface.

I have seen plenty of bootlegs from shows that seemed impossible to record, So I am hoping the same will happen with the Vegas shows :nod:

I hope its on DVD cause i'm not going and if it does go on DVD i hope its not edited...it should be the entire show.
