Stevie on KLOS 3/22 @ 10PM
 

Just a heads up for those in the L.A. area: I was skipping around the radio tonight and caught the tail end of "The Dance" being played in it's entirety on KLOS 95.5. The DJ talked about Stevie's upcoming Vegas shows and said she would be interviewed by Jim Ladd tomorrow night at 10:00. I guess it could be a repeat of one of their old interviews, but I got the impression it was going to be something new.

I know i'm not Tiff but I am talking to her and she told me if she gets home from work in time, she plans to tape it :thumbsup:

No prob! I'm going to try to get home in time to record it. If anyone is interested I can send the tape to someone to convert so it can be posted, as my computer mic is currently broken.

Jim Ladd will be honored with his own Hollywood Walk of Fame star on May 6,2005...Dude is very deserving IMO!!!

Mine too! He has a great rapport with Stevie and always talks about her and what a genuine person she is on air. When he found out about his star on the Walk of Fame last year he said he wanted to play a very special song to commemorate it -- After the Glitter Fades.

Does anyone plan to transcribe the chat for those of us primitives who have ancient computers and are still on dialup (28K, no less)?

Apparently this evenings interview is LIVE and in studio :thumbsup: Hopefully we'll find out what the official word is on this Don/Stevie tour this summer.

Arrow is gone!! I know, I'm so bummed... it was my favorite station. I love KLOS but they don't play as much 70s rock. And Jack-FM sucks. I e-mailed them to ask what the hell happened and express my disappointment. Never heard back though :laugh:.

RIP Arrow! I was listening on St. Patrick's Day and one second it was Arrow's U2 marathon and the next it was Jack FM playing Kung-Foo Fighting! I cried.

So Arrow is just gone? They didn't move, they're just gone???

I actually emailed Joe Benson (uncle Joe) from his website and asked what happen to arrow. He actually replied and said he has to hang low for awhile and that news will be posted on a semi-daily basis. Whatever that means.

I am so bummed. I grew up listening to that station :(

Ha. I know, I went away for spring break and got all excited to hear familiar stations as we were driving back into L.A., only to find Arrow had been hijacked by Jackson 5 and the Bee Gees.

I think it's just gone :distress:. From Shel's post, it sounds like they might have had some legal/financial trouble.
