WelshWitchPMD 03-14-2005 05:33 PM

I am going to be in Vegas May 8th (my birthday) through the 15th. I have a ticket for the opening night show and Saturday right now.

Hawkeye 03-14-2005 05:44 PM

I'm not going, but I would absolutely love to. And if I was it would for sure be Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm a middle of the week guy.

sodascouts 03-14-2005 05:48 PM

I hate them! I hope to get better closer to the show. I guess I am going to eat them because I was stupid. I am NOT a happy camper right now.

estranged4life 03-14-2005 06:18 PM

If I was to go...

I would want to see a show on May 12th (My 35th birthday)...Thursday, That's if there is a show on the 12th.

There isn't, actually. :( She's resting that day.

I understand how you feel, Pattie. I got a ticket for Wed and it's not a great ticket but I just get all stressed out about it. I worry if I don't get a decent ticket now I might not get one later. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens and hope I don't end up spending tons of $ like I have in the past.

Tues & Wed for me & Bikerchic.

It's probably better then mine. I just can't believe how stupid I was to get them. I will never ever do that again. Next time I am just going to wait and if I don't get a ticket then that is it. I am trying that strategy for the Eagles here on Saturday. I'll post whether I get a ticket or not.

For one of the SYW concerts, I had 9th row or something then ended up with 4th two days before the show. It was too late to unload my tickets, so that was lost money. For this one, I'm keeping the ones I have.

estranged4life 03-14-2005 06:58 PM

Glad the Keith Urban...

fan club provided great tickets for all members of the OKC show (Since Deb is a member we had basically seats in almost the same spot I had for Fleetwood Mac in July 2003...They were reserved for us so no BS trying to get better seats, Which never appearred online at face value)

Where are your seats, Pattie? If it makes you feel better, I've never had front row for any FM-related concert. :(

You could've joined us on the "side section." I'm kinda wishing I were closer to center now, but oh well.

I don't think I'll be checking the TM site anymore for Stevie. A front row seat will come up, I'll impulsively buy, and then will have spent almost $800 on tickets.

yeah, really. I can't afford any more and still maintain the lofty state of my existence....
I think the side might be better, cause if they let us stand right up front, the closer rows will get to do that, and then you can sort of squirm around to the middle slowly... Whereas I will have to do some serious James Bond stuff to get up there, probably - I'm bringing my grappling hook, harness, glass cutter, watch that gives people memory loss - you know, all the usual Bond Gear. :p

Brian,

This ticket crap is total BS. I am just ready to cancel my whole trip and sell those ticket 2 for one.

I don't care if I ever see Stevie Nicks again!

I think that I will save my time and $ for any tour that Lindsey has planned.

yer "waiting for the countdown" (Aka a LB tour)??? Kinda reminds me of our fellow Ledge sister wondergirl/Christy and her carefully thought out KU sign, Which she can also use for a upcoming LB tour

I'm not going because I have finals. Oh, and because I don't have much money or a car. And I hate long trips and casinos. Okay, I'm finished whining. :D

If Stevie wants to come down south, not during school, I'm there.

Casinos are the pits for concerts, anyway, so you lucked out. You've gotta sit for most of the time and the people who go to casino shows are dickwads. I'll never forget when I saw Cyndi Lauper and Cher at Mohegan Sun, I was ready to explode. I paid a hundred bucks for that bloody ticket and people were yelling for me to sit in my seat. F*ck that ****.

Sad but true. I experienced the very same thing 4 years ago when I saw her in Vegas. I had a real prick in face pointing at me telling me to sit down. I told him to get outta my face and he says "how does it feel not to be able to see"....told him to *uck off, he goes and gets security, she was very understanding about the situation, she moved us right to the front!!

I still wanna go though. But probably won't. :(

Yeah, I can't stand casinos in general and wouldn't want to be at a concert in one. (Though I might if she came down to one of these casinos. I'd probably just put up with it to see her, or all of FM, for that matter). As for the sitting thing though, I'm a sitter anyway, so I don't care about that. But I'd hate for someone to stand up in front of me. That's never happened, though. I've only been to about six or seven concerts in my life, though. Someone spilled their beer on me at a Sting concert when I was about seven years old, but that's it. I usually sit and quietly sing along at a concert. I get all solemn and like to take it all in. I would probably sit in utter silence if Stevie was on the stage, clutching my chest in awe and exaltation. Seriously.

Agreed. Casino people blow. Casinos blow in general, Vegas blows, decadence and greed blow, but then again, I'm just jealous I can't go so don't mind me. I hope everyone has a blast!! Can't wait for the boots.

For Tues nite row 8 on the far right side section is coming up. This could be a decent seat though because this venue is intimate. But I hate being all the way over to the side. But it's up front! And it's on the girls' side! I can blow kisses to Sharon.

Yeah, I'm jealous, too. Not for the Vegas part, but defiintely for the Stevie part. I'm eager to see the pics people are going to take because she's SO gorgeous these days! :]

Could have very well been....there were plenty of them there though. :distress: The second night you & Louise went, I'm wanting to say you had the same seats I had the night before. Right in front of the sound box, like 13 rows back.

Yes... we sat there on the 2nd night. We were actually 2 rows in front of those seats and wanted to stand but didn't want the hastle we had the night before. We saw a heavily pregnant woman sit behind us and offered to swap with her and her hubby so that we wouldn't be standing in front of her. Then a guy with a broken leg sat behind us! So we swapped again and were happy enough standing in front of the sound box. We moved closer to the front towards the end of the show.

The first night we were around 5 rows back on the left hand side

That's right about where we're sitting Tuesday night. Wed we're center, but farther back.
