Sign Here If You Are Officially Sick of the Winter

It is now March 11th, and it is still SNOWING. I can't take much more of this. It must become warm soon, or else I'll demand that we move. :distress:

We haven't had major snow storm here this winter. I'm not really sick of it this time around. It's been pretty mild compared to previous winters. I do want spring, though, so I can pull out my cordory flip flops that I love so much. :)

skcin 03-11-2005 09:36 AM

I've had it. HAD IT, I tell you. Still snowing here too.

DrummerDeanna 03-11-2005 10:08 AM

:wavey: I was loving it until last week - when like 4 inches of snow was dumped on us - and I had to dig my car out from under a bunch of ice and snow...and I'm also sick of the crap on the ground that was once snow but has since turned into ice- making dog walks ever so challenging - and probably amusing for onlookers :p

Anyway - I'm ready for the spring!!

GypsySorcerer 03-11-2005 10:52 AM

I actually like winter. It and summer are my faves. Our winter has been fairly mild here. I dread spring - allergy season.

Vianna 03-11-2005 11:35 AM

I also am sick of winter!

SuzeQuze 03-11-2005 11:45 AM

Man, I can't believe anyone has had a mild winter this year! We have had record snow, the 5th most snowy winter in recorded history. More snow is coming tonite. I'm sick of it. I wish it would just snow in the mountains for skiing and not here. I'm so done with winter too, Ryan. :wavey:

amber 03-11-2005 11:50 AM

I was sick of winter, but then this past week it suddenly got all sunny and warmish. It's been balmy (for us) at night, and not very windy, either. I'll be sick of winter again when it resumes in June - the month of constant fog and overcast.

Gypsy-Rhiannon 03-11-2005 12:15 PM

Well we haven't had much snow really but I'm certainly sick of it being so cold! I need some sun!

And here I was thinking that you'd come back with some kind of filthy comment... :xoxo:

I'm so sick of snow, if I never see it again I'll be happy. And it's been so cold this winter!

estranged4life 03-11-2005 12:19 PM

Ahhh...

60's-70's are here at last...No more winter in 'Okie' land.

Just to be an asshole we only had 3" of total snow this winter...6" less than normal

Am I so predictable? I could've said "What, 5 is enough for ya?" or the like, but I didn't. I missed my big shot. Damn.

I wouldn't complain if it never ever snowed ever again. I *DESPISE* it with such a deep rooted passion. To paraphrase David Byrne, "Some people never had experience with snow! Some people don't know **** about the snow!"

They have a bunch of Byrne solo shows up on Easy Tree from 2003, I believe. :wavey: Haven't had a chance to download any, though.

I love snow, but we've had too much this year. Way too much. It was the worst the other day because the snow was falling so hard and the winds were 40mph and you couldn't even step outside.

I was outside walking home in that in my kitten-heeled boots.  I had driven to work but my car doors were frozen shut when I left. :distress:

I haven't D/L'ed a bootleg in forever. I need to start again. But yeah about the snow, I think I just need to move somewhere where it never snows. I'll be much happier all year round.

It does. :blob2: I played hookey Wed, well it was a vacation day. Still, it was liberating nevertheless. I like to "call in well" every once in a blue moon. :D

DrummerDeanna 03-11-2005 12:30 PM

I enjoyed the winter but I'm SO ready for it to end...it's snowing right now - we got more than average snow fall this year too -and it's forecast til like next wednesday - accompanied by lower than normal for this time of year temperatures...:distress:

I can't wait til the day when I can leave my house without bundling up - and without having to brush off my car :D

Not if you move down South! I'll take snow over polecats and moonpies any day. :p

You could move to California. Then you could see snow if you wanted, but easily live in a place where it never snows.

I was thinking more along the lines of southern Colorado, near the Four Corners, even though there is absolutely nothing there.

Cali sounds good too. Too bad housing out there is ridiculously expensive...

I could never live in such a rural place, I need big city noise. Noise is comforting.

Nope. I'm living off of my parents.

Well I don't mind sleeping on the couch, but I don't think I could do it every day. We might have to share a room ;) :p

Here in Sin City ( that name sucks, right along with Elvis) it has been in the 80's. I? can't stand it either. You can see pollen on everyone's car.

I LOVE the rain

I'm glad I haven't been home for the past six days. It was 70 degrees here in Charlotte on Tuesday while it was snowing and freezing back in NJ  Apparently they ended up with about four or five inches. Hopefully it doesn't snow again though because I have no interest in seeing anymore ice and snow on the ground.
