Does anyone have any idea on how we get in on this presale? It says "fanclub presale" on Ticketmaster. Surely not the Fleetwood Mac fanclub...I hope not anyway.

Brian

Well, the Bellagio is always nice. It can be pricy though. I work at a resturant there (when I'm not going to school) called Circo, so I'm a bit tired of looking at that hotel. :p A couple of my friends stayed at the Venetian a couple weeks ago and had good things to say about it.

I was looking at Ceasars, and they didn't have any rooms for all four nights, they showed they had one for one of the nights, but it was a suite, and like, 300 dollars or something. *sigh*

Ouch. Wynn's new hotel will be open then, but I'm sure that will be booked for awhile too.

amber 03-11-2005 01:10 AM

Did you see the pic they used on the ticket site? "Stevie goes to the renaissance fair".... It's pretty, though...

No, the Wynn has space but the deposit is not refundable. :)

Yards are great- if you're not in Vegas. Due to the 20 something year drought that we have, there is a limit to how much grass you can have. Most new houses have rocks.

WelshWitchPMD 03-11-2005 01:35 AM

Thanks for posting the info Jacob! I just reserved my hotel. I think that I am going to have to look for a second job.

Actually that is good, I am against building giant, resource consuming cities in the middle of the desert. :) The damning, etc, they had to do to feed Los Vegas and L.A. (water) has been very detrimental to a number of things. You should really try to live in harmony with the climate/resources that are in the area for maximum goodness. So, rocks! Yay!

I agree with you. But the city has watering restrictions for the average Joe Blow idiot, and at the same time builds massive golf courses.

You are right. As usual, big business wins, regular people lose... :distress:

SpyNote 03-11-2005 02:19 AM

She's been planning for MONTHS

So it looks like Stevie's been planning this Vegas gig for months...sneaky lil desert angel  Remember last summer when VH1 first posted Colosseum dates on their website, and then local Vegas ticket brokers started to pitch front row seats (remember the fan who got blasted for posting the link as Caesar's official site, poor kid), and finally Mark Schulman (drummer on the TISL tour) had mentioned (to a fan who's friends with him) that Stevie's management was checking up on his availability. I guess it shouldn't be all that surprising...she is an ol' hand at this touring thing.

estranged4life 03-11-2005 02:43 AM

Rather spend...

$72 total for 2 Keith Urban tickets through his fan club ($35 ticket price + $1 service charge) than see a single Stevie show

strandinthewind 03-11-2005 07:28 AM

If I may interject here, Vegas ALWAYS has some great hotel deals. I saw one a few weeks ago at the very nice Golden Nuggett on the strip for $59 a night. So, keep checking!!!!

GODDESS6 03-11-2005 07:31 AM

my ma who lives in vegas has been calling me everyday since i told her stevie playing the colliseum was a possibilty ~ she said on friday "the neon" comes out in the local newspaper, so she ordered the paper just 2 get it  , i am so hoping 2 make this trip :blob1: , but the thought of a henley/nicks <<< she would headline of course tour, sounds phenomenal~ i love the eagles & the members, but it seems that i prefer joe walsh, & henley's solo material much more, leather & lace & possibly (xxx crossed fingers) the highwayman would be fantabulous~ i am gonna have 2 do some digging, to see what this pre-sale thingy is & how it is used~ god i hope it isn't thru the fm fanclub thingy, that was a mess    !!!~

ontheEdgeof17 03-11-2005 08:04 AM

I don't think I will be going. I graduate from college on the 14th.

Amber,

It really doesn't matter where you stay as long as you're on the strip. Also, make sure that you're in the main hotel (some hotels, like Circus Circus, have these trashy motel things set behind the main hotel - blech.) I've stayed at The Riviera, which is nice, but it's toward the other end of the strip. The Boardwalk is OK too, and it's walking distance to Caesar's. Both will most definitely have rooms for under $100 per night.

If you don't mind spending more $$$ (like, at least $150 - $300 per night) then NY NY is very cool, and not far from Caesar's. Monte Carlo, MGM, Paris, Bellagio & Venetian are also nearby. The strip is easy to walk, and the bus & trolleys are cheap & easy too.

greatdarkwing 03-11-2005 09:24 AM

I'll be there w/ my girlfriend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

skcin 03-11-2005 09:28 AM

Hmmm...still nothing on Nicksfix or Caesar's. WTF?

I assume this is happening for real, and since JK hasn't updated Nicksfix in 5 days (very unlike him) that he's getting all of the details straight before he posts anything.

Damn...I was just in Vegas...wasn't planning on going back anytime soon (although I ADORE Vegas!) My 30th B'day is coming really soon - maybe I can make this my gift...

cliffdweller 03-11-2005 09:47 AM

I'm totally pissed. I'll be moving at that exact time!! Stevie, why oh why can't you come to Austin instead?

TheMacAttack 03-11-2005 10:52 AM

Once again, thanks for heads up NICKSFIX...NOT!!!!

Kelly 03-11-2005 11:00 AM

this presale

Is this presale for FM fanclub members? It says "fanclub presale" on Ticketmaster. Gah, I wish we would have something confirmed ....I would love to know how this presale is gonna work. The one for the AC show at the Borgata was for American Express cardmembers ONLY. Bleck. Ticketmaster says "fanclub presale". Considering Stevie doesn't have a fanclub..I assume it is the Mac fanclub?
I HATE disorganization. Get with it Nicksfix. :D

I booked a room at Caesars. It is pretty full though.

Just checked "The Offical Fleetwood Mac Fan Club"--no updates since Sept 28, 2004. Big Surprise. The Presale is probably for Caesar's Palace High Rollers :(
