Seven Wonders...mystery solved?
Thanks to our very own Paula and the Loretta Perry Nicks, the question has been answered over on the Nicksfix.
The verdict? Sara. Lori, Thanks for taking the time to do this Q&A. Here are my questions: Will you ever tour with Stevie again? Rumour has it that Jessica is interested in getting into the music business how do you feel about that? Random question: What is Stevie saying during the musical breaks in the album version of Seven Wonders? The fans have been dying to know, and a debate is on between: never, Sara, ever, Tara or pharoah. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Lori's answer: Dear Paula, First of all... rumours are so interesting, aren’t they? Jessica is 13... she did sing on the song “Say You Will,” but as far as her getting into the music business, per se... we’ll see what happens AFTER she finishes school (and I hope that includes college)!! And I do believe that what Stevie is singing during the breaks in “Seven Wonders” is..... “Sara.” |
Hurrrray!!!!!! I can finally sleep at night thank you Lori! No, seriously, it is cool to finally put that debate to rest. I have had too many converstations with other fans about that...it's kind of sick really!!

Well I'll be a monkey's uncle
I was soooooo wrong with "ever" BYW - what the hell does "Sara" have to do with that song? |

I know - I have seen literal SCREAMFESTS here about it   |
NO MORE SLEEPLESS NIGHTS FOR ME! LOL! j/k
However, it is good to see this FINALLY answered! |
Yes I think we have had this conversation many a times. You once made me get Tango out and listen to it over and over trying to get me to agree with you. I can't remeber who was right...if either of us!

I'll believe it when miss nicks says it. Lori saying she believes Stevie is saying Sara doesn't count.
|
Nah, Lori's wrong... it's "Tara."

I'd put money on the fact that most of the Tango sessions have been compartmentalized somewhere out in the back of her mind < /lame Stevie song interjection>. She probably doesn't remember much of it, partially because of the fact she wasn't always there and also because she doesn't want to. Just my opinion. |

Okay I have this thing cranked right now and I heard...."Pharoh"....LOL

It's Tara.
.....just listen to the remix. It's brought out to the front so much more. |
I always thought it was "hello" I never focused on it though - so I never lost any sleep...:D

And another thing, WHY did people keep asking the same questions??? I know there was no way to see what others had asked, but come on, no one thought that other people were going to ask "when will you tour again" or "what's it like living with Stevie" etc?
I'd ask her, so what do you do all day now? What are your hobbies? Stuff like that... |
There's also the possibility that Lori doesn't know or remember what Stevie's saying there, maybe she's just making a guess?

Troublemaker! :D :D |
On the Seven Wonders remixes and extend mixes Stevie repeats it more and I really dont think it's Sara.
If anyone wants me to send the mp3 let me know. |

Jen...what's it like being Stevie's sister in law?!?! Does she cook you a big steak with salad and a low carb dressing? |

Hey, Lori! It's "Tara" :p |

Not to sound like a "know it all" but I always knew it was Sara-Remember Sara is Stevie's dark/light side- (I think dark)Remember...welsome to the room- sara---about re-hab and checking in as as Sara Anderson....
Sara..... |
I was excited that she answered the question...finally, someone addressed it! But I don't know if I believe her 100%, like some of y'all. I also wonder why I'm so obsessed with it.

Hey! I'll ask questions the way I want to, you ask them the way you want to! I prefer multiple choice! JK - I haven't even seen it yet, I'm shocked she answered it at all. :blob1: Hey, at least I didn't ask "hey, what's Stevie like? Is she nice? Do you like her? Blah blah blah?" |

To be honest, I couldn't really think of much to ask, but I felt I had to ask something about Lori's life/career/etc. rather than just ask about Stevie. Of course I knew others would ask about touring, but since the ?'s are supposedly picked randomly, I had no clue that John would send her the same questions several times over. BTW - I assume Lori could have just asked Stevie what she's saying in SW, as opposed to listening to it & attempting to figure it out herself. That being said, I do agree that Stevie might not remember what the hell she said. :D I can picture it now - Lori working away on the computer, Stevie in the other room writing away like Bob Dylan  Lori (yelling): "OK, here's the question: What are you saying in SW?" Stevie: "What kind of question is that? How the hell am I supposed to remember? It was almost 20 years ago!" Lori "Well, the choices are Sara, Tara, pharoah, never, ever. Pick one." Stevie: "Pharoah? WTF? Where did they get that from? OK, tell them it's Sara, I guess." |

I also think that maybe it shouldn't have been a multiple choice thing. I think she probably picked "Sara" because of the Stevie connection with that name, but that's probably just because I don't think it's Sara. ;) |

By the way, congratulations for getting your questions answered! (Even if we all question the SW one! ;) ) |
