Today is the day on which I am dressed in all black from head to toe :D

Never been one to make too much of this day, and when you tell people that they look at you like you're from Mars. It's a commercial holiday people, get over it!!!

The main purpose of it, to me, is to eat any random heart shaped chocolates/candies that happen to come my way from residual "valentines feelings" others may have....

I should wear all black too, After nearly choking to death again last night (Literally)...I wonder if I choked because the Grammy's were on and this was my punishment for hating that ****? Sorry God, Keep f**kin with me and when I appear before ya I am punching ya in the "Golden Jewels" :lol:

Anyways, As for "Valentine's Day", I think the following image is appropriately :nod:

I think today was the first time I didn't wear black...Wow, bad choice by me :mad:

I'll admit to wearing a Valentine's shirt today - but I always wear holiday shirts - for almost every holiday (not the crazy sequined grandma Christmas sweaters; more like the $5 Target Tshirts & cute socks.) :angel:

Anyhoo, in general - this holiday is a big waste of $$$, IMO, second only to that crappy Hallmark-invented holiday called Sweetest Day. Candy makes me fat(ter) & flowers die. Why not just either insert the cash directly into my ass fat or toss it right into the garbage :shrug: It would save a few steps.

Of course, my husband loves that I feel this way. :nod:

Right. if someone were going to do something romantic for me - do it anyday - not on some day that the card companies have designated :nod:

This was exactly what my Jehovah's Witness friend said to me years ago about the insignificance of holidays, birthdays etc. :) makes sense, too.

Thanks Brian for the "happy" wishes, that is appreciated :-) I bought myself a fabulous watch on Friday so I am good today despite my lack of a male valentine.:D I'm cool wit' dat. For those who care it is a Skagen with a pink mother of pearl face and a fabulously stylin' silver band. It also has 4 little diamonds in it at 12, 3, 6, and nine o'clock. So right now, it is 10 past bling! :laugh:

Well, I never had any reason to do anything romantic on Valentine's Day but maybe someday I will have a reason for romance. :xoxo:

I do like to celebrate different holidays however. I think that it is nice. Like I said I do not have a sweetheart but I do have a sweet tooth :laugh: and my Dad did buy me some cookies so I can't really complain.

Here are some pics of my cookies. They come in a long white box just like roses do and everyone thinks that they are roses. They are much better, however.

A late happy valentines day to all. I spent mine going on a date with a guy I didn't know, and we both agreed we had nothing in common. But it was a free dinner and some margartias. :thumbsup: And my mom brought Olivia by my work and she gave me some chocolate covered strawberrys and a little heart picture frame that says you and me with a picture of us inside. That was cute!

That Olivia thing is so cute! How fun. Sorry about the blind date, but at least you had one. My friend is coming over in a bit, that should be fun.

I can't make compilation DVDs...only VHS. I figured since you said you wore the old one down I'd try to put together another one!

yeah, sometimes it stops while i'm watching it. I should get a new one. :wavey: Maybe this one can have less, so as not to be on SLP, so as not to wear out as fast, or something.

That would only leave 2 hours of tape?! :eek: The problem with that tape could also be that I taped on it first, and then re-taped the video so I could make it longer. Maybe that has something to do with it. Making a 2 hour tape would be painful. I have too many things I want to use. NOt that it's for me or anything!! :D
