They sure were! Well, we know for sure now that *Lori* hasn't been answering the Ask Stevie questions...

I loved the "are you gonna tour with Stevie again?" question. But cripes, Lori -- go on tour already and let the kid have some bitchin parties in the pad!!!

Which leads me to the question for Jessica... Kinda sad answer, but I don't feel sorry for her. Nope. Not a bit. ;)

You can say that a thousand times...

I was so excited to see that she had sent in questions with actual answers. Take note of your sister-in-law, Steves!

i thought jessica's answer was sad also, she made it seem as if being stevie's neice was cramping her style~ seemed kinda ungrateful 2 me & that makes me sad~ could just b her indifferent attitude being a "teenager", but it dissappointed me nonetheless  ~ but awesome    2 pip, 4 u 2 have your ? answered & she remembers u, how cool is that!!!~

melly 01-26-2005 08:13 AM

:) I like how Jessica said "there are good points and bad... on one hand she's just my aunt, on the other, kids can be mean.." sorry, which of those was the good part? :) I guess it must be hard, if the kids know she is stevie's niece, but I can't even imagine how they would be mean about it... "ohhh, your aunt is stevie nicks!!" or maybe "ha ha, you have a cool, wealthy aunttttt who picks you up from school in a limoooooo!" (I'm guessing.. how cool would that be... sigh) :o

tynan88 01-26-2005 08:32 AM

Yay I like the answers and hopefully they keep up! Is this some way of distracting people while they phase out Stevie's Q&A though?

Hm...well, I hadn't even thought of that. Somehow I doubt it; I figured this was just an addition to it, but you could be right. Who knows?

I wonder how exactly the kids are mean to Jessica...I mean, do most 13 year olds know who Stevie Nicks is? Besides our very cool younger fans here, that is :) That was quite puzzling...

MAybe most don't know, but then the teacher may ask... Are you a Stevie Nicks relative??
And then the fire is started. remember how cruel can be young people

I understand it can be hard. Imagine how hard it is to be married to a star...

It's also possible they make fun of her aunt's obvious eccentricities. I mean, we think stevie is normal, but a thirteen year old may have a very different view of her style and career...

Right. AND to a 13 year old....a 55 year old in music? She must seem ancient to them

edit: especially when right now the norm in the music industry seems to be very young and very slutty girly girls....

yeah. They're probably like: "your aunt sings funny!!!" and "your aunt was a goat on south park!" .
I doubt that they would make fun of her for being rich and stuff. Last time i remember, kids didn't think that was a bad quality... They're probably all "Can we come over to your house?" :D

YES!!!
I remember in Freaky Friday, when JAime Lee Curtis is playing the role of the daughter, she wears very eccentric, and the daughter (who actually is the mother in that moment) said "WHAT DID YOU DO! YOU LOOK LIKE STEVIE NICKS!!"

And Jaime Lee said... WHO??? (I felt so old in that moment.. )

My thoughts exactly. Hope they'll never see Stevie's SOTM performance on the Mirage video  Then Jessi will really be in for it! Our masterpiece is someone else's joke.

I kinda agree, but she really is so universally hot that it might not be too bad. They'd be like "omigod, is she possessed?" then they'd all laugh...

I was used to the possession by the time I saw SOTM on Mirage. What scared me chiffonless was Rhiannon from Rosebud...

So do Lori and fam live with Stevie or something? That's the impression I got from the way the question about Jessica was framed. I thought they lived in Texas or something.

Yes, Lori, Chris and Jessi have lived in Stevie's Phoenix home for years. They share the house. This is well-known among fans.

StevieNicksEO17 01-26-2005 04:19 PM

Are you kidding me? I would be so happy kids made fun of me for being Stevie's niece... Seriously LOL

Serrart 01-26-2005 04:25 PM

Lori's answers were really niice, and it was great to read that she would keep singing backups on Stevie's solo albums... the plural was very reassuring

Oh boo f u c k i n g hoo! Wa wa, oh well if it wasnt for Aunt Stevie where would she be? Does Chris have a college degree? What does he do besides peddle his sisters tshirts lol.

Ok im sorry, im sure kids are mean to her. Stevie is very easy and fun to make fun of, as I just pointed out lol.

Yeah, I'd guess there are three basic angles of attack:
- The twirling (and general spaciness)
- The singing
- And maybe her weight?

Kelly 01-27-2005 07:43 AM

Lori

Lori, Chris and Jessica live in a separate wing of Stevie's Phoenix house. However, Stevie spends a large amount of time in LA, where she has her house on the ocean.
When we talked to Jessie in Camden, she seemed like a normal teen, suffering from normal teen angst. Lori seems very protective, perhaps Jessie is just struggling with normal teen problems such as wanting more freedom. Having a famous Aunt could make everyday issues like that much more complicated.
As for the questions...they are awesome. I was really hoping that no one was going to ask questions that she already answered in the Singer's Page.

We are sorry these questions took so long to get posted. Lori had sent some of them before Christmas, but due to technical issues (John's email program) the questions were lost for a while. Please know that this Q&A is important to Lori and she loves the fans very much.
Oh well that's good to read that, nice reassurance!

While is it is nice that Lori is supplying more than the laughable ,few line ,nearly mono sllyabic responses that Stevie has deigned to provide .Don't expect any revealing responses when she is asked about how living with Stevie really is.She has had plenty of time to figure out on which side her bread is buttered.
