The usual new album news

I know we've all heard this a million times, but I thought I would share anyway.

I went to a record store that I frequent today and while perusing the 45's section, one of the employees approached me and informed me that he sat near Lindsey at the Brian Wilson "Smile" concert in LA and Lindsey mentioned he was working on a new album that was going to be finished in a "few months."

So, remain hopeful.

Michael

That is a nice way to put it. Hopefully, we won't have to remain "hopeful" as long as we did for the last album or for the album that never came before Say You Will!

Maybe, he really is going to do it this time! Saying a little prayer here..... :p

GardenStateGirlie 01-14-2005 05:36 PM

Well I certainly hope he means it this time....I need some new Lindsey in my CD player  Thanks for posting!

NicksIllume 01-14-2005 06:17 PM

That's great news! I wonder what a "few months" in Lindsey time means exactly.

Does anyone know when this show occured? A "few months" could have been a few months ago.

I'm still betting on a late April/early May release.

If that's true, then the album is probably completely finished, if not near.

wondergirl9847 01-14-2005 07:19 PM

Well...

A thousand years is a day, and a day, a thousand years.

LOL

This seriously sounds promising...dear God, all I want for 2005 is for Lindsey to put out a kick a$$ album and tour! AMEN!!!!!

So when was this Brian Wilson concert? a few months from yesterday is still awhiles away. But a few months from say October means we're getting close.

Thanks, dear. Hummm......I wonder if it is in it's final mixing process?

Hawkeye 01-15-2005 11:52 PM

ooops I didn't read the previous posts that answered my question. November 3rd huh. So I interpert "few" as 2-5 months, but for Lindsey it might mean 20-50 months.

jbrownsjr 01-16-2005 07:43 PM

i heard he and christine are putting it together for 2015

it's called "You Died In the Meantime"

He and his one man band may need some more time. They're a bit undermanned.

Trying to quote you... Bobo, ReFleetwood Mac (whoever the heck you are now) is the hardest thing I've ever done on this site. I had to scroll for miles and miles and miles just to press the quote button. :xoxo:

I put it on photobucket.com and then it gives you a URL so then you can just insert it in your signature :)

Pff it's always too big :( if you follow the link you'll find a great picture of him (with a great guitar) but too big

And here we go again

I just heard this new solo stuff yesterday on my local rock music station. After I stopped laughing, I went over to Lindsey's website & sure enough it was there. Don't get me wrong; it's great that he's working on a solo album, but I definitely don't expect it out this year & probably not the next, & oh say, maybe it'll morph into another Fleetwood Mac album years down the road.

Lee :)

 My friend in radio out in Denver sent me some info on LB's new album yesterday. It was the exact same message that has been on his website since January 1st 2005.
I wish that Lindsey was a bit more active in his website news/info. I hate to say it but it just seems like a waste of time. Get with the program, Lindsey!
