Favorite Brand of Coffee or Tea?

Good golly it is cold here tonight! It has me in the mood for some tea. I always enjoy checking out new teas and coffees!

My favorites for Coffee:

Starbucks Breakfast Blend (perfect way to ease into the day!)
Hawaiian Kona Coffee (stronger for those early mornings that I hate!)
Ghirardelli Chocolate Raspberry (flavor is balanced and not too strong)

My favorites for Tea:

Celestial Seasonings Raspberry Green Tea
Celestial Seasonings Honey Peach Ginger
Tazo Chai Tea
Good Earth Tea for Flu (I just like the flavor!)

What are your favorites and/or recommendations?

gldstwmn 01-12-2005 08:18 PM

Organic Kona.

I don't drink coffee, but I'm a whore for St. Dalfour's Organic Tea. Usually English Breakfast.

I wish I had never started the coffee thing because now I barely know my own name before I have my coffee in the morning. :D

 I don't like the taste of it, it's nasty, way too bitter. And I don't like caffeine, so...

Try St. Dalfour's tea, it's fantastic.

That is funny, because I used to HATE coffee. I told my parents that I would never, ever like it. And, of course, they told me that eventually I would drink it. Well, I have law school to thank for my coffee habit (in addition to a boat load of student loans . . . grrr).

Mom and Dad . . . you were right . . . :o

I will check out the tea that you recommend - I tend to go decaf with my tea.

Yogi teas, several flavors.
I haven't had coffee in 5 days or so, and i feel fine. But, I like to get Free Trade coffee when i get it...

Coffee: I love Gevalia Kenya Blend and Signature Blend
(Well, really, I love all Gevalia coffee. You can't go wrong.)

Tea: I love that Russian tea that people make at Christmas with Tang, Lemonade mix, etc.

The best part of waking up is Folgers straining to get out of your bladder.

ontheEdgeof17 01-12-2005 09:07 PM

I hate coffee....

...as for tea....Does the iced tea from Hardees count? It's fab and the only thing I order there.

GypsySorcerer 01-12-2005 09:18 PM

I hate coffee and will only drink iced tea if absolutely necessary. In the South, that's looked upon like mold on cheese. :D

WelshWitchPMD 01-12-2005 09:43 PM

Coffee: Dunkin Donuts! :blob2:

Tea: I just like regular tea nothing special.

DrummerDeanna 01-12-2005 10:18 PM

I like Folgers haha...

And about 5 years ago Starbucks had a coffee called Blue Note Blend - ah - it was SO good - that was my favorite - I don't think they've had it in years though :(

Tea: I like Tazo Chai, Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer, Typhoon English Breakfast Tea

GardenStateGirlie 01-12-2005 10:50 PM

I'm a total tea drinker. Can't do coffee anymore, unfortunately, but I do love my tea. For Christmas I received a Starbucks Tazo gift pack with 40 bags (thanks Mere!). I'm in heaven. Chai, Calm, Chamomille, etc. The Starbucks Tazo is excellent with a little bit of cream and some equal  I also like Sleepy Time Tea, Green Tea.... Okay, I like tea.

estranged4life 01-12-2005 11:02 PM

Tea...

yeah, now were talkin':

Lipton
Lipton Cold Brew
Lipton Tea in a can
Texas Tea (Love the green tea best of all their flavors!)
Nestea in a can
and my new favorite Deja-Tea in a can

HAte cofee, live for snapple iced tea

DownOnRodeo 01-13-2005 04:01 AM

Does hot apple cider (an instant, ' just add hot water' thing) count? A Californian here first gave it to me and I fell in love with it. When she went back home for Xmas I got her to buy 40 packets for me, to last through the winter!

Mari 01-13-2005 05:10 AM

Coffee: Douwe Egberts
Tea: Rooibos, no particular brand, Celestial Seasons: red zinger.

YAY for yogi teas... i like their throat comfort one, and their ginger one... mmmmmm i LOOOOOOOOVE them.

i have more tea in my cupboard than food. is that bad?

sara1998 01-13-2005 05:23 AM

I didn't drink coffee until I started working in an office. I'm pretty boring, so I just drink Folgers. But I have one of those one cup coffee makers here at home, and I buy the Folgers Columbian. As for tea, I love iced tea. If I'm going for a treat, I go for a mocha at Starbucks.

Villavic 01-13-2005 05:37 PM

Tea

Twinings Earl Grey Tea

SuzeQuze 01-13-2005 06:06 PM

Bigelow Green Tea - Constant Comment, it has this spicy orange flavor and the aroma is heavenly. Oh man, I want it now!

I looove coffee and think it is unfairly demonized :D. I like Dunkin' Donuts. I tried Green Mountain hazelnut and that stuff is like buttah too. Dad gave me 2 lbs of DD coffee for Christmas :blob2: :blob2:

Merf 01-13-2005 06:11 PM

Coffee: Anything Starbucks. I've become quite the coffee snob. Add a couple of espresso drinks too, and I'm good.

I don't drink tea. Occasionally I will drink sweet tea, but that's rarely.

Serrart 01-13-2005 06:25 PM

I don't drink coffee, and for the tea I usually go with Twinings (English Breakfast and Earl Grey), Fortnum & Mason (Breakfast, Earl Grey Classic, Jasmine) and Lipton Iced Green Tea.

Romy

goldie 01-15-2005 09:35 AM

I've become a coffee snob myself and I hate the fact that I do like to drink it. We have a gourmet coffee shop here and I only drink tea from there - I like the flavored ones: Cozy Winter Nights, Snickerdoodle, Pumpkin Spice, Jamaica Me Crazy ..... I am so spoiled, Folgers makes me want to gag now.

Tea: Twinings English Breafast, Any Stash Chai tea, Celestial Seasonings Decaf China Pearl, Good Earth Green Tea.

I hate iced tea too, especially already sweetened iced tea! It is like drinking sugar water. Of course, you are right about the way people in the South look at you when you don't like iced tea. It is like you have smallpox or something.
