Stevie Nicks Song of the Moment

Since we were posting our Fleetwood Mac Song of the Moment on the Rumours Thread, I thought it would be fun if we put up the Stevie song that we were into at the moment too.

I'll start us off:

"If You Ever Did Believe"

"I sing for the things" but usually, Angel or Insider or Edge.

Solo-wise it would have to be Touched By An Angel. This one never gets old. :D

The 'tropical version' of "If You Were My Love." :D

I love and adore..

AND it's got absolutely nothing to do with the fact it's a Stevie solo effort but Lindsey just happens to play guitar on it...

I totally agree! This one has special meaning for me because of my mother's recent bout with breast cancer. I made her a cd of it and she loved the song!

Outside the Rain. It took me a long time to appreciate it. :)

Blue Lamp :)

Well, I just put on If Ever etc, and i almost started crying, first line!!! :p
These are SOME LYRICS, girl!

Now Listening to Think ABout It but Ghosts has been on a lot lately as has Destiny and If I Were You and I Still Miss Someone.

Tynan

My Heart, Real Tears, Christian, Touched By an Angel

Kind of Woman, How Still My Love and Outside the Rain.

Lol!!!

But they are sooo wonderful too, though! I just love the lyrics, the melody, the timing, etc. of this song. It is just beautiful!

Touched by an Angel, the alt. version of Bombay Sapphires, I Need to Know, Somebody Stand By Me, and Silent Night (not only b/c Stevie sings it, but also b/c it is my favorite Christmas Carol).

I was playing the extended album version of POTU last night, and what a fantastic extension it is. Makes the song imo. So I guess that's my Stevie song of the moment because I think I'm in the mood to play it again, right now. :)

She Calls You Missing/Love Is Like A River

I've found myself listening to demos lately.

All the Beautiful Worlds, China Doll, Blue Water, Mistaken Love, Julia, My Heart, etc.

with FM - Landslide from the Dance

solo - I'm feeling Violet and Blue at the moment. ;)

The alternate version of "Sleeping Angel" that I recently downloaded. For the life of me, I can't remember which site it was -- maybe someone else knows. The lead vocal and ending are totally different, and there's more mandolin. I think a fan remastered it from the reels.

'Rooms on Fire' is always on hand at any given moment.

Some Become Strangers

Sable on Blonde

dark upon light, because it hurts too much

"China Doll".............How I wish this would have made it on to Bella donna.

 I can't get enough of this song lately.

Also, Sleeping Angel & Touched by an Angel. These could be on repeat forever and I would never tire of them.

These have been my songs of the moment for quite a while, with new entries every now and then:
Space Needle, My Heart, Christian, Joan Of Arc (I'm not sure if I should put it on this list or the one with FM songs of the moment :p ), Crystal (Practical Magic soundtrack), Enchanted, Garbo, Trouble in Shangri-La, Bombay Sapphires (official and alternate version), POTU (extended mix), Bella Donna.

Romy

Here are mine:

All the Beautiful Worlds- I love the chorus.

Julia- Especially the "I love the stars..." part in the middle of the song. The way she sings those lines with the answer back by Lori & Sharon gives me chills.

Blue Lamp- "GUARDIAN!!!" She really rocks on this song. My fav version is the one where she vamps at the end by singing If you were my love.

Sean

Gold Dust Woman (Demo Version) #15 on the Rumours bonus material. I LOVE this. :woohoo:

"Think About It"..........it always puts me in a good mood.

I just rediscovered my love for the song "Street Angel". It's beautiful!

I woke up this morning with "Candlebright" running through my head. It's stuck there and I have no idea when it's going to leave....

"I've been with you before...
I'll be with you again
I'll come back for more, yeah
The story has a strange ending

Well, you know me I'm a nomad
I can't feel bad about the way I am
I've been rolling around my whole life
You're my candlebright in the window..."

the "Rhiannon" version from Storytellers.

I hear ya Moony!

Right now I've got a thing for Sable On Blond. I love her singing on this.
