I was browsing through my various pictures and came across this one. She has such a great laugh. I feel like showing a lot of C. McVie love today so don't mind me.

jbrownsjr 12-06-2004 02:31 PM

Anyone notice the pic above her fireplace in the guitar pic?

macfan 57 12-06-2004 02:39 PM

Thanks for posting those pictures of Christine. They're from a 1976 People Magazine. Believe it or not, the focus of that article was about Christine, not Fleetwood Mac. It was a pretty funny article, too. That's the one where she jokingly referred to herself as a wino.

Yeah, she calls herself a wino (very accurately, I might add). One of the pics I think is of her pushing around a shopping cart, buying wine.

We need to get that added to the BLA!

macfan 57 12-06-2004 04:31 PM

Lis, I've got the magazine. I'll e-mail you shortly.

I forgot about the Fleetwood Mac: Excess wallpaper. I'd love to see that again!

macfan 57 12-06-2004 04:39 PM

Yes. There it is. The one with Chris buying the booze. The first picture isn't from that People Magazine. That one is from a Goldmine magazine. Thanks for posting all of these pictures. :)

In that article, doesn't she talk about jeans and homosexuality? I've read it once or twice somewhere.

She sure does. She said that she had 40 pairs of jeans, but doesn't want to come off the least bit "lezzo". The article is pretty off beat, to say the least.

Would you expect anything less of her? Has anyone ever transcribed the Return of the Native article?

I am dying here. She is so funny. Does owning many jeans make one 'lezzo' LOL? How politically incorrect of her.

And NicksIllume, thanks for posting all those pics, they are fantastic!! How could I have gone through life never seeing those before?! It boggles the mind. Today was kind of a crappy day and those really brightened it for me.

There should be a Christine picture thread started. Maybe there would be more photo gems circulating. Christine always brightens a bad day for me.

jbrownsjr 12-06-2004 05:53 PM

thanks

I agree!

And thanks for posting all those pics; I have never seen any of them either! And she is beyond gorgeous in the very first one on this thread. It makes me feel good to see her laughing like that.

It looks like someone transcribed most if not all of the great interviews that Chris did for In The Meantime this year. There're alot of them in the Blue Letter Archives.

I'll also go along with a Christine picture thread. That's a great idea.

strandinthewind 12-06-2004 07:44 PM

I LOVE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for posting the pics. Now, I go to the article

jbrownsjr 12-06-2004 08:28 PM

I wonder where the booze pic is?

Thanks for posting those, they're great! I've never seen any of those as well. I love the picture of her playing guitar in front of the fireplace and the booze shot. A woman after my own heart!

The 2nd & 4th ones I think are from the 1976 Oakland festival that Bill Graham did. The first one is allegedly from San Diego's Balboa Stadium in '75. Can anyone figure out the models of the top two boards?
