Portable DVD Players
Does anyone have one? I've been thinking of getting one and would like some advice on what to look for and what not. Anyone help would be appreciated! :wavey:

The screen size and type is the most important. Depending on your needs, I say go for the largest screen with the greatest clarity. Also, almost all now can be used in your house on your t.v. just like a "regular" DVD player. I would, however, wait until after Christmas for the sales, unless you see a good sale now. Also, some of the grocery stores around here have them for sale every now and then. So, your triple coupon thing might work.
Finally, if you get a great deal on a well known brand and it is not as hi def as one $100's of $$$ more, I would go for the deal if it still suits your needs. |

I have jury duty at least once a year, my friend. And I never get picked, dammit.  |
Wow, I can't imagine wanting to watch movies everywhere i go. Unless i traveled for business all the time. That's very mysterious to me. Hope you get a good deal, though! :)

I've got a Panasonic 7'' screen for my portable DVD player, and it's great. It wasn't too expensive either. I would assume the larger screen would be even better. I use mine all the time, whether it be in the car, on vacation, around the house, etc... I love it. only thing is, the speakers on the player suck. Gotta have some nice headphones to go with the player.

I served once and it was one of the most interesting things I have ever done. It amazed me how many jurors were willing to come to a conclusion without being able to state why. It was a DUI and we convicted. I got to be the person to read the verdict and was paranoid that I was going to be hurt afterward! |

I'd love to serve, but it's so hard to find things that you can be objective about, you know? |

What can I do? If I retaliate in any form, I think they'd start picking off my other outdoor cat. Bastards. Anything other than a horrendous plane crash is too good for them. :sorry: Not. |

I've been told by several redneck guys who hunt, that they always shoot any cats they see in the woods. Heartless SICKOS. They have no appreciation.... Off with their heads, I say. |

My ex-boyfriend was NOT a cat fan at all...and this one cat that belonged to a neighbor was totally neglected and used to use his yard as a litter box- the cat was always trying to get into his house...etc....the cat was NEVEr allowed inside - and then its owners moved and didn't take it with them.... Anyway - my ex hates cats - but would still never harm one...we found more amusing ways to mess with it ;) Like the hose ;) Kidding...but yeah - sometimes people need to take better care of their pets  I know you can't control where your animals go - but it is annoying to have to clean up cat poo and find new and creative ways to secure the trash because cats keep tearing into it - and don't even get me started on my neighbor's cat that peed in my car....hahah |

I live in a decent neighborhood. The guy that owns the neighbor's house got remarried, moved off, and rented the house to some redneck trucker and his 4 kids. They put the trash back in white trash. I'm just praying they don't live there much longer. :( And the main reason I didn't retaliate was out of fear that they might do something to my son, I mean dog. I would DIE if they did something to him. He's a housedog, and rarely out of my sight, but I won't take any chances with him. |

I said, "Todd, they killed my F*CKING cat. That isn't gonna happen! I hope your house burns down with them in it." I really have no use for people who don't love(or at least tolerate) animals. |
