Worst Movies

What is the worst Movie you have ever seen? I would like to nominate the following as the WORST movie ever made. OH, Some are so bad they are funny, this one just plain stunk..........

The Waterboy.............

Can anyone do worse? (Yes I think Waterboy was even worse than spiceworld)

wondergirl9847 10-28-2004 11:39 PM

Lol

National Lampoon's Senior Trip...saw it with the 'rents.

Yeah.

The Bodyguard sucked....he should have died.

amber 10-28-2004 11:46 PM

Well, I think you have to make a special ammendment to discount horror flicks...JMHO
So i vote for...oh, i'll have to get back to you...

thepoetinmyhear 10-29-2004 02:45 AM

My roommate and I used to make a game out of renting terrible movies and trying to outdo each other's selections for the worst movie of all time. Most of these movies split up into three categories with a few terrible movies tht are actually entertaining because of how bad they are:

1.) Mainstream release that is just so stupid you can't believe people actually got paid to work on it (THE WINNER for me: Biodome)

2. Indie film that is so bad and contrived it actually is hysterically funny. (THE WINNER for me: Deathstalker)

3. Indie film or mainstream film that rambles for an incredibly long time never really managing to be entertaining. A very boring movie (THE WINNER for me: Mindfield with The Keep coming in a close second)

Gypsy-Rhiannon 10-29-2004 03:16 AM

All of the American Pie films...

Serrart 10-29-2004 07:18 AM

In the last years I couldn't stand (not in a particular order):

Dances With The Wolves :sorry:
Titanic
Battlefield Earth: A Saga Of The Year
The English Patient
A Perfect Murder (Remake)
Striptease
Body Of Evidence
Con Air
Never Talk To Strangers
Pearl Harbor
Air Force One
15 Minutes
8 MM
Batman & Robin
Captain Corelli's Mandolin
Dr. T & The Women
The Blackout
Femme Fatale
G.I Jane
The Next Best Thing
Armageddon
Irréversible
Cold Mountain
Troy
The truth About Charlie and The Manchurian Candidate (remakes): I'd like to kick Jonathan Demme' s bottom for the way he mistreated two classics

ahem... I'd better stop :o

"How to Deal" ...went to see this with a date, and it became the first movie I officially walked out on! Mandy Moore should be shot.

9 1/2 weeks and Eyes wide Shut... Damn right they were..shut fast asleep  ...zzzzzzZZZzZZZ

hayley 10-29-2004 10:31 AM

I just saw 9 1/2 Weeks a couple of months ago for the first time and was amazed to see that there was a point in time in which Mickey Rourke was HOT- really, TRULY HOT.

I remember seeing Kazaam or Shazaam or some name like that with Shaquille O'Neal is a genie with my mom and brother. She won free passes. The worst movie I've ever seen, by far. Daredevil, too. That was horrible for me because I love the Jennifer Garner, but wanted to slit my throat through the film, which is never a good sign.

DrummerDeanna 10-29-2004 10:40 AM

Batman and Robin - it was awful...
Spaced Invaders (the first movie I ever walked out on) -HORRID

I know there must be more - but those two stick out in my mind as the worst movies I've seen

dissention 10-29-2004 10:48 AM

Exit To Eden- Rosie O'Donnell and Dan Aykroyd in bondage gear.

The United States of Leland- WHY???????????????????????????!!!!!!

I'll most defnitely think of more.

OMG...forgot about that one...that's definitely high on the list...

wondergirl9847 10-29-2004 11:18 AM

Oh man..

I liked Con Air. :)

But I like alot of dude movies, so...LOL

Titanic was alright and Dances with Wolves was okay. I've seen parts of Pearl Harbour, the attack scenes made me cry a little...and Armaggedon too, but Deep Impact made me seriously bawl. LOL The rest on your list, Serrart, I've not seen.

skcin 10-29-2004 01:24 PM

Anaconda

Cabin Fever

amber 10-29-2004 01:37 PM

Thanks for reminding me how much GI Jane sucked ass.
I'm also going to vote for Julia Roberts movies, specifically, one that should have been funny but wasn't. The one with John Cusack, her, Billy Crystal, and Cathering Zeta Jones. man, that sucked
If you haven't seen Lair of the White Worm, you should (random movie advice)

"End of Days" fits the bill nicely there.

I don't count abominably bad movies that strike one as entertaining because the dialog is filled with howlers or the FX are skinflint-cheap (movies like Ed Wood's "Plan 9 from Outer Space" & Phil Turner's "Robot Monster" are examples).

GateandGarden 10-29-2004 03:23 PM

Well, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE "Mystery Science Theater 3000," but I'll leave out all of those movies, since they're too easy.

How about-

From Justin to Kelly

and They Live

The intolerance for Con Air, Pearl Harbor and Armageddon is caused by my Jerry Bruckheimer Syndrome. With almost every movie he produces (a couple like Black Hawk Down were very good), after the first ten minutes of slow motion, plastified cinematography, loud soundtrack and dumb acting I start to stare at the emergency exit.

I agree, there wasn't anything funny in it. It needed some dark humour... and John Waters ;)

The Blair Witch Project.

markolas 10-30-2004 01:54 PM

The only movie I ever walked out on was Poetic Justice. Janet Jackson's lone foray into acting. Really bad movie.

A few years ago, I was roped into seeing Black Knight, with Martin Lawrence. Another piece of #$@!. Basically, any movie like that is bad.

Actually, I like this movie. It's so bad it's good. I watch it late at night when there's nothing else on. My favorite line is when Gina says, "It's now or never, that's what Elvis said."

I think the same, everything is so badly decadent in Showgirls, that you can almost find in it a satiric dignity. Plus, Gina Gershon has a great "All about Eve on acid" final scene.

She's a good actress, IMO, her irony usually helps every movie she is in.
