Do you visit other message boards?
 

Have you found any other cool message board like the Ledge? I haven't.
I have checked some, one of travelers (my hobby!) but just to check info, ask questions, etc.

Never found any other board to participate often.

Once in a while I travel to Nancy's site (buckinghamnicks.net) but actually haven't in a while...that's the only other site w/board that I've visited..and I don't really even post there...

I want to know where the George & Travis Board is!

They say that place is RAWKIN'!!!

I post pretty much everywhere. Each board has a different feel to it, so I enjoy visiting/posting on them.....when I have something to say, that is.

I think this place is great and is proabablyt he 2nd best Mac Board, I like the Legboard the best.

I used to like that spot, but they won't even let me post there any more! I think I'm banned over there.

I lurk on several boards, and occasionally post on Nancy's board and Neil's board. I used to visit and occasionally post on Tracy G.'s board too, and will again if and when it re-opens.

I used to lurk on Mick's official board, too, but now that I think about it, I don't think I've even visited it since sometime last year. :shocked:


I told you, silly, George & Travis don't run a message board.
But the next time I hear from either of them, I'll let them know you've been asking about them! :) :wavey:

Well, that's weird. I used to sneak my way in there & observe. Travis was there, & George, & blackcat, & Spirit, & Rose. I don't think Rhapsody spent any time there, however. I think she ran with a different pack. Or with the Devil himself!

Does anyone have any copies of the old Jean Enloe newsletter Platform? Jean had heart disease, & Craaazy Ginny sent Jean a cease-and-desist letter (imagine sending a cease-and-desist letter to a FAN over a silly fanzine -- how heartless can someone be?), which terribly affected Jean (Jean has passed away). Imagine if you have a weak heart, & you hear from your idol to CEASE & DESIST publishing a harmless little fanzine. That's disgusting.

Sounds cool, if it does exist. I remember them all from way back when....extremely generous and nice peeps. I miss hearing from them all.

Ahh... well, "used to have" and "have" are different! :laugh: Yeah, they used to have a message board together, but they don't anymore. That had to have been about three or four years ago, no? Maybe even five?
It's hard to imagine that the Ledge itself has been around (in one form or another) for SEVEN years now. I seriously lose track of time until I'm reminded of something like that. :shocked: :o

Anyway, Travis still pops in around here once in a while, though I haven't noticed him lately. George stays in touch through emails. :)

I've never seen 'Platform,' but I've heard of it, and I've heard of what happened between Jean and Ginny, and about Jean's passing.

That really is absolutely horrible. And it's a damn shame that Ginny damaged fan relations so badly. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you (or feeds you by proxy)!

It seems that Stevie has had bad judgement in picking people to represent her, or act as artist-fan liasons, on more than one occasion.
I think it's a situation where she gives someone a job out of kindness or generosity, and then finds out they were the wrong choice after damage has already been done.

Of course, she's also not the only member of FM to have made that mistake!!

I was on burnish, is that up again yet?

Other than that, nothing. I adore these boards and I have been on here since 1997!! Too long to ever leave!

I do post on X Files boards...:) The Haven is my fav now.

I visit other boards, but only post on The Ledge and BuckinghamNicks :)

I really only post here but I do lurk on Neils board and the burnish board...I've been an participating member of the Ledge for over 4 years now and I still haven't made 1000 posts

other than FM, I mostly lurk on Buffy/Angel boards

I do use the messenger when play poker at www.pokerroom.com

but my new thing is LiveJournal...which I discovered through my Buffy/Angel obsession...I think that's the Holy Grail for lurkers :lol:

4 any1 who don't already watch or know the show, it was created by the same people who made real world/road rules, but it is women who have all sorts of issues & need/want 2 start over, the show is gr8, i can't miss an episode!!!!~ LOL, they have a gr8 message board w/ spoilers * 1 of the members, wrks @ a t.v. station & gets the episodes early, & posts them early, it has become real popular!!!~

Hi Everyone....I found this board by way of David's-Throwndown.net, great FM and Stevie Board, I also view the Nicksfix.com and can chat there-they don't have amessage board but you can discuss alot of interesting info on the chat- Sometimes the BuckinghamNicks site that has been listed has great info and I also like SLN-info, I think the site is Stevie Nicks underground.com. If you happen to take a surf over to Throwndown.net, David lists all the links that are of interest. He is from Germany and is a newly devoted fan and he does an excellent job with his site...Just a few thoughts! Have great weekends!!
