NEW "Tusk" SURVIVOR - INTRODUCTION
 

OKAY! SodaScouts and I are teaming up to bring you "Tusk" Survivor the Sequel. This post is not the official start to it, however. It is a rundown of the rules and also something we need to decide...

I wanted to go back and start the game off where we left off after 'Brown Eyes' was voted off. Nancy, however, wanted to start fresh. It could go either way, so it's up to you guys to decide since we haven't been able to get together to talk about it today.

So we'll let this go for a day and whatever people decide on will determine where the game begins. So vote to either start from the beginning or continue.

Now, here are the rules for the game once it begins. Our aim is organization and easy-to-follow...ness.

THE RULES:
- Rezamatic and Sodascouts are the hosts for this attempt. We will always post in the same manner (font/size/color) and our goal is to make it easy for you guys to follow what’s going on. So if you’re confused, look for our posts. We will announce a) when the voting period has begun and ended b) who has immunity and c) results.

VOTING:
- Voting periods begin AFTER immunity is assigned and ends at 9:00 EST that night. Either rezamatic or sodascouts will post an official beginning and ending announcement. If your votes are before or after those posts, then they do not count. See below for how immunity works.

- When you vote, type 1) The round number and 2) the name of the song in your subject line and ONLY that. We will tally the votes by the subject line, so if it ain’t in the subject it doesn’t count! Otherwise, feel free to converse however you like. But please try to keep the constant arguing and back-and-forth to a minimum just so it's easier for people to keep track of votes!

- Votes can NOT be changed once they’re posted. We count your first vote and that is all.

- If there is a tiebreaker, then ALL votes from ALL previous rounds are tallied and whoever has the most prior votes is eliminated. That’s the way it’s done on the real show, that’s the way it’s done here. If there is a complete tie with prior votes (Murphy’s Law), then we’ll have a sudden-death immunity question ready which will allow someone to make the call themselves between those two (or more) songs.

IMMUNITY:
- After we tally the scores, we will announce the results and post an immunity question/puzzle/etc. and await a response post containing both the following: 1) the correct answer and 2) their choice for immunity. When we get that post, it will then be VERIFIED by us in bright, bold letters confirming who has immunity this round. So again, if we haven’t posted, nothing is official! Once we confirm immunity, the voting period begins.



Remember, this is Survivor. Alliances will form, people may play dirty. If you want your song to stick around, then FIGHT for it! And GOOD GOD please remember this is a game and it's all for fun!

The other thread is such a mess... I can't even find out which songs were already voted off and in which round we are. Maybe if we start over things can go on a little better.

Well I voted to start over. I was following the last game but did not vote because I was always confused as to what round it was and what was already voted off. Hopefully the new rules will make it easier to play. Maybe Sara will stay around much longer this time. :> )

I think if we decide to continue where the other one left off, it'll only lead to another argument, and that is where to start over from.

I cant BELIEEEVE this is starting over.I already dropped out of the last one,so I definitely 'aint playin this one.
Why don't we just crown 'Sara' the winner already,after all,isn't the fact it got voted out so soon the REAL reason things got sour in the old game and why most seem to want a new one.I think so.

It's not MY reason for starting over,I just suspect it's most everyone else's.I'm with ya on slaying Sara in two rounds again.That's the only way i'm in the game..if Sara goes. :nod:

How are you going to do that? Does that mean editing your post (whatever you edit) makes it disqualified? The fun thing in the game is that you can try to make a stand for a song but change your mind during the day. The most posts are in the evening, that's night for us europeans.When I wake up, I can see what was the often unexpected endcount. But because a lot of the americans post late, we're only possible trendsetters....unless I can try to stand for a song and change my mind at night. It made my day sometimes in the previous rounds. i think it would be a loss if i could not edit my post during the day.......

Dude, the people who wanted Sara to stay were not the same people who put up the fuss. I think you're dead wrong... :wavey: The fuss and confusion came mainly from immunity changing, and when BC was voted out, then there was a miscount so TENF was found to be the one to be voted, then all heck broke loose... :D
