Is it just my browser, or is LaLa's banner showing up... everywhere for anyone else?

In the past five minutes, it's been a top banner, Riss' avatar, and last night it was the background of the Quick Reply box.

I think you're special and it's showing up just for you ;). I don't see it anywhere (except when you showed me the PROOF and in her actual sig).

Actually I can back Greg here, I've been seeing Lala's banner too. Or at least a part of it, in places where it doesn't belong. Obviously Lala has bribed Marty, or something like that. ;)

Two months later and it still goes on. Now it also involves Amber's signature. Is there any end to this occasional harassment? ;)

The same thing is happening on my screen -- Amber is EVERYWHERE!!!

(And at first glance, she appears to be topless in that pic... :laugh: )

Also, as I started this reply, Amber is now seems to be an insertable smilie... I think she's doing this on purpose just to get the attention. :p

It's a very cute pic, though. It just sucks being a guy, because anytime you think you see someone naked, you just instinctively zoom in to make sure and scope out the details. It's just a little disconcerting when 1) the picture is of a pre-pubescent "naked" girl, 2) the picture is literally EVERYWHERE you look, and 3) you're a FLAMING HOMOSEXUAL. But now that I see you're not really topless, I don't feel like SUCH a perv.

It's back! Now Amber's signature is the culprit. It's shown up as avatars, other peoples' signatures, emoticons. Sometimes when I click on a link to go back to a forum, I get her signature picture instead. o_O

Caps for proof!! :D It's probably an AOL/IE issue, since I'm on AOL right now (I think they use IE, but I don't use the browser itself on this computer if that makes sense), and I know I've seen it happen once at school, and they're on IE. And I don't go Ledging on Firefox (my browser of choice).

EDIT - Fabulous, it's the background of the tables/div boxes now. And yeah, seeing everyone else's posts it's not just an AOL/IE thing like I suspected. It's still weird though. o_o And add me to the list of people who thought she was topless. I about panicked when I first saw it in school. :laugh:

Amber's sig is now the Underline and Left Align icons in the reply box. I just tried to post something and got LaLa's sig instead in it's own page.

I've come to the conclusion that it's because they're hosted at tinypic.us. They're not really "normal" pictures, ie they're not in a standard form like .jpg, .gif, etc. They're just straight URLs, ala http://tinypic.us/blahnumbers That's the image right there. I'm not sure what that has to do with anything, but I've noticed that signatures that have pictures in a standard format don't show up everywhere, whereas tinypic does.

So it's Tinypic. That's my theory, and I'm sticking to it. :wavey:

It's possible Greg, but then that doesn't exactly explain why it doesn't show up for everyone. I used to think it was a Win98 problem (I use it, and I read that Nixxxed does too) but maybe this isn't a way to punish those who still use old OSs. :p

But then the site is having hacker problems. Could those have anything to do with this? ;)

I've Win XP, and indeed no problems. But what about browsers, and browser versions?

Hmm. I've IE 6.0. Whatever :p

I don't think it's an OS thing, since I'm on XP over here.
