Holmdel and Jones Beach Pictures

I uploaded everything I managed to take. There would be more extreme Lindsey close-ups but on his few rounds in front of me, I stood frozen, afraid that if I made any sudden movements for the camera, I might betray my ultra cool exterior and thusly, fade away into a small puddle of goo on the floor. Some are horrendous, some are amazing..it all depended upon the lighting at the time. I hope you enjoy looking as much as I enjoyed taking them  If you should choose to use these on any sites or for anything, all I ask is that you credit me. If I find any on sale over at E-bay, I will hunt you down

"there was no chiffon to be found anywhere on stage
during "i'm so afraid"
i had looked everywhere but the only shawl left in the road case
was a blue shawl...."

Yep, she walked around a lot during the Holmdel show. That's Ray Lindsey next to her

You're welcome! I wish I would have been able to get better pictures in Jones Beach because i'm in love with the new skirt Cory spoke of in her tour diary. I'm soooo glad she's busting out all of these fabulous shawls and cloaks. She looks absolutely beautiful!

mylittledemon 06-10-2004 05:10 PM

Great pics! I like Lindsey #5. Looks like he was playing "The Chain" or maybe the end solo on "I Know I'm Not Wrong."...? Glad you had a good time!

I think it might be necessary to blow up Lindsey #7 into poster sized goodness

Yup,

Yes, and I will be needing one of those posters! I was hoping you got the new skirt as well. Well, if we did not have the "Nazi wannabe security guard from Hell" in front of us, maybe we could have moved up from our third row seats. Maybe she will bust it out in Hershey, its only supposed to be in the low seventies...cold for La Nicks.

Yea, they were terrible security guards. I think the new wardrobe is here to stay and I even suspect that when she hits the warmth of the mid west and west coast that she'll pull out some new (well, new because we haven't seen them in a long time) items

Did you use a digital or 35mm camera? My digitals from Madison turned out blurry and I want better pics at the next show I go to.

I have a SonyCyber-shot DSC-P8. It has smart zoom, 3.2 mega pixels and MPEG movie VX (which means it can continuously record moving pictures for a max. of 90 min). At first, I didn't know how to work it (in Atlanta). Now that i've taken the time to mess around with it, i've managed to figure out a lot of the things I was doing wrong. When I take any pictures at the concerts with this camera, I turn off the flash. Digital cameras tend to be sort of funny in that if the lighting where you are is off the slightest bit, it will effect the clarity of your pictures. Trial and error is what it's all about. Hope this helped a bit!

princessblair 06-11-2004 01:31 PM

Thanks for the info...the really nice close-ups of Lindsey look excellent. Did you record any of the show as a movie?

Again with the trial and error...I wasn't aware that you needed to zoom in before hitting record so it looks rather dumpy. However, I do have about 15-20 seconds worth of Goodbye Baby from Jones Beach. I'll have to have it e-mailed to me before I post it...it's on a friends computer. I think i'll try and record tomorrow night at Hershey.

Stephanie 06-11-2004 04:07 PM

thanks for the great photos
I have some on photo CD if I can figure out how I will post shortly
