Go Your Own Way from Boston DVD on TV
I just saw "Go Your Own Way" from the Boston DVD on VH1. Unfortunately, I only caught the second half, but I got to finally see what people mean when they say Lindsey "paws" his guitar. Very interesting.
So despite the alarm regarding the release of "Landslide" to VH1, it appears that is not the only song they will be playing. |
Haha! Well that is cool. I was hoping to get another ripping solo on DVD finally, but i guess he let the crowd play like the current tour...?
|
I need to start watching more VH1! I always miss the Mac stuff when its on!

Yeah I'm sure the crowd plays on the DVD, since it was filmed in Boston as part of the tour, and hes done that like every night...plus that would be kinda neat to have on dvd i think too Chris |
Everytime I turn on VH1 they have some kind of silly countdown or something. I never see any music but that also might be a good thing.

Me too. |
If they show the crowd playing they'll show me and my girlfriend! I cannot WAIT for this to come out!

I actually saw it on VH1 Classic. Don't know if the regular VH1 channel has it; I rarely ever tune in to that one.
When Lindsey is playing the guitar solo, he goes over to the edge of the stage. There's a bunch of guys reaching up trying to touch him and the guitar. |
I saw the video last night on VH1 Classic. I flipped out ~ it was great. The band was into it big time and they sounded good. I can't wait to get the DVD.
|
I? Don't get VH1 Classic. Despite paying Time Warner Cable over $90 a month! (That does include Road Runner, but still!)
|
It's only on VH1 Classic? I wasted my time watching the end of "TV Moments: Christina Aguilera" for nothing?!

I did too!!! Damn, I was hoping I'd see GYOW! |
They showed it during the "All-Star Jams" program. I'm sure it will be in heavy rotation for a while on VH1 Classic. It is a classic song, after all.

I'm thrilled to hear that they've released something besides Landslide though. |
You're actually wasting your time watching VH1 if you want to catch any video before 11AM. They only play videos until then. And usually Tuesdays 9-11AM is a repeat of the VH1 Top Twenty countdown. I did catch GYOW on VH1 Classic too, and it is great. I just think the camera people went a little crazy filming. Judging from the two videos on VH1.com and the GYOW performance, it's like they switch cameras every two seconds which gets a little annoying. Still can't wait to see the full show though!
