Photos in reissues

I just got my reissues of Tusk and the White Album and O...M...G...my fave photo of them EVER is when you first open the Tusk booklet!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! I have that exact poster in my room (with color, mind you!)!!!

These photos are way cool!!

Listening to the Tusk bonus disk now....AWESOME stuff!! Storms just blew my frickin mind...I LOVE this version! :D

Now, where is my Rumours reissue!? I should get it Monday, I hope.

Christy ~

I don't have them yet (they're yet to be relased in Oz  ) but just on a hunch... is the photo you're talking about the one where they're all looking at Lindsey and huddled around him and he's smiling at them? I'm guessing it could be that one cause it's my absoulte favourite and it's one of the three things I chose for him to sign (ie the big LP insert).

No, but close...

This is the one!!

That's one of my all-time fave Mac pics too.
Everyone just looks so cool there... and Lindsey & Stevie look especially sexy. :D

Photo...Ebay!!!

 SEXY  IS the RIGHT WORD for IT!!!:)
Thanks Christy! Gotta' buy me TUSK!!!Sky:)

My favorite pics from the band are the B&W shots from the Mirage era with them standing at the bottom of a stairway. Stevie and Lindsey look so goddamn sexy in those shots that I could die.

This is almost like the one I was talking about, but not the exact picture:

I have the Tusk poster with them all huddled, I paid $90 for it!! I was hoping that was the one you were speaking of.

My fav Tusk photo is the cover of the 12 inch Sara I think , where Lindsey is like "passed out" while John attempts to take his shirt off, it's the most amazing pic of them I think.

I can't wait to get these reissues! Mr. Wallet is a tad empty right now but soon! I'm even more excited now:)

A thought, it's too bad they didn't somehow add all the LP pics because there were SO much inside the album! You could take hours trying see everything, then the tourbook too! Tusk was all about pics.

That wasn't the exact one that I was talking about, but it's close. The one that I can't find make the two of them look like the most gorgeous people on earth.

Re: No, but close...

Sweet. I love that pic. I especially love Lindsey's short hair, that was a good move for him. ;)

Diss...

Dangit, just the other day, I saw some outtakes from that Mirage era photo shoot, but I cannot remember where I saw them. I'll fish around today if I can and try to find 'em.

Re: Diss...

Ooh, maybe those photos will heal the wounds that my package from Deep Diso**** CD left today.

:wavey:

Well, I found it, but...

I don't think the pic you are talking about is in this group, but I did finally find the photo outtakes I was thinking of. Christine is in the window by herself in some of these.

Re: Well, I found it, but...

Thanks, Christy!!!

It is just like this one: http://www.sararhiannon.com/images/MIRAGE45432.jpg except that Stevie is standing next to Lindsey and he's in the same position with his eyes closed. :)

Crap!

It won't let ya link the exact photo. Which column and row? LMAO!!

Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out. He looks er....uh....not sexy there. LMAO!! He looks...non-manly.

Re: Crap!

The one I'm talking about is a closer-up shot with just Lindsey and Stevie standing next each to each other against the wall, she's almost leaning on him. If I ever find it again, I'll let you know. The two of them are incredibly sexy in it.

Dangit..you!!

Now, you have my curiosity piqued!!! I need to see this photo!! Anyone know where the darn this is posted???

Re: Dangit..you!!

Don't you love her little hat in those pictures? Much better than those things she wore on top of her head in the late eighties/early nineties.

There used to be a site of Stevie/Mac pictures and it had, I swear, over a thousand pictures. It would've probably been there, but I think it shut down. The bandwith must've been used up the first day of each month! :(

Re: Re: Well, I found it, but...

I think these photos were taken backstage at the Brendan Byrne Arena at the Meadowlands show on Sept. 14, 1982. They should have put that photo on the Mirage reissue.

The White Album booklet has some Rumours photos, like the cool one on page 18, which is from the back cover sitting of Rumours.

When I was first going thru the booklets, I wondered how that slipped past them, when it's obviously from the same photo shoot as the pic in the original 'Rumours' liner notes.
Also, any one of us could've told them that they have a 'Mirage' era live pic in the 'Tusk' booklet.

It's amazing that these kinds of errors slip by, unnoticed. They need to start hiring fans to oversee these things!

Namingly us two, Livia, and a few select others

Thanks for those pics, those were fun to look at :)
