Hi, I'm New

Hi,

I am new here and wanted to Introduce myself. My name is Jimmy and I am 14 years old and an addicted Mac Fan. I am not a dancer. I got hooked on the mirage video when I was 7.

Anyway this is kind of rude of me for asking since its my first post, but i lost 3 Mp3's, STOP DRAGGIN MY HEART AROUND from Las Vegas 10-6-01, Nashville-10-23-01, and 9-15-01. I need them to complete my shows.

I have been lurking for a while and I wanted to pop in. I went to
FM 97
SN 98
SN 01
FM 5-27, 5-28, 9/23, 9-24

I am looking for sum1 to post my pictures of the Boston show 9-24.

Jimmy

Hi Jimmy-Wow 14 yrs. old and you've gone to all these concerts and know all about downloading. Do you know ANYONE else your age that is into the Mac?
I don't have your songs either but check all the websites that have downloads as a lot of them have polaces you can post somngs that you are looking for, and try www.fleetwoodmac.de.vu and see if he can help.
Maybe one of these could post your pics. Maybe send them to Tracy at burnish.net and see if she will post?!?
Good luck and welcome aboard!

Hey,

I am sure many of you guys would recongnize me from the buckinghamnicks forum or burnish at MacMan121.

Thats me! I know GypsyRhainnon.

Yeah I am a very young FM fan and I have my very own FM impersonation band. We play full sets and we have great crowds. I thought the TISL tour was awesome.
I need these Mp3's badly for my collection. lol

Welcome to the Ledge, Jimmy.

I was 13 when I became a Mac/Stevie die-hard, and it's always great to see teenagers becoming fans... especially considering the current musical climate! :)

Sorry I can't help you with your mp3 search either... best of luck finding those tracks.

God, that brings back memories. I remember my friends and I playing FM songs in the basement, when I was 14. God, that makes me feel old. Rumours wasn't very old then....
Man, for a time machine.

Welcome!

It's great to see yet another teenage FM fan :D

secondhandchain 01-16-2004 01:25 AM

Hey welcome.
God I'm getting old. I remember I was 14, and was really only in to AM pop music. Then my sister bought Rumours, I heard Second Hand News, and I was blown away. That was the first song I kept playing over and over. (that and " I don't Wanna KNow") I looked at those people on the back cover and I thought, "they look so cool." They still are, although I really miss Christine. Anyway, welcome.

Hey Jimmy... Welcome. Another teenager, like me, and Siri Ruane
Great:D

I'm jealous... I didn't disvocer the Mirage video until I was a about two years ago... And I was already an 7 year fan...

The only thing I hate, about being a fan my age, are all the kids at school, looking at my shirts and saying "Who's Fleetwood Mac..."Who's Stevie Nicks... Isn't that a guy's name?"
I don't know whats worse, that, or being called the "Fleetwood Mac Boy" by all my parents friends.

Be proud of that, it associates you with the best rockband ever.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone,

Being young at a FM rock concert has huge advantages.
On The dance tour people were passing me down to the front of the stage.

On Enchanted, when Stevie came to me on Edge of SEventeen we literally talked for 2 minutes and she was so kind.

on TISL some guy grabbed me and out me on the security guards chair for edge.

Then I got Lindseys autograph in Boston at the taping. And got a special hello from stevie.

Security at rock concerts are such saps. I just tell them when I want to get on the floor, my mom is down there and they watch me sit in a chair all by myself(yes i ditch my mom sometimes).

I cant wait for the summer tour they better come to Mansfield even though they always do.

Jimmy

ryan8472 01-16-2004 02:28 PM

That's really cool that you got to go to all of those concerts and even have the band acknowlage you! Why did I have to get stuck 50 rows back in Bridgeport?!

Actually, one of the reasons I like it here so much, is that there are younger fans here that really like Fleetwood Mac. Being a 15 year old in a school where everyone either likes rap, or some really cruddy new band I've never heard of, can be difficult at times. There are a few kids who say they like Fleetwood Mac, but I know that only two of them really mean it, so I might as well discount them (they really only know the Rumours hits). Two of my best friends however, are well on their way to full fledged fandom, thanks to me!

Jimmy, I like your posting name. I always thought Rhiannon Rings would be a great name for a boat if I ever own one.
