I received an email from FM fan club, few weeks ago. I understood that we'll receive automatically a FM calendar (all members), is that correct? I erased that email, so I'm not sure. Or do we have to buy it?

Hello Mac Fans,

The new fan club management team, Signatures Network, has been hard at work on the fan club for 2004. Earlier in November you received a bit of information on what was planned and today we wanted to give you a more detailed update! The items below will be offered to all existing members:

1. In recognition of members loyalty, it has been decided to EXTEND ALL MEMBERSHIPS SIX MONTHS.
2. You will be given an across the board discount in the Official Fleetwood Mac Online Store of 10-50%. Discounts will be active by 12/7.
3. You will be receiving a 2004 Fleetwood Mac calendar.
4. You will also receive a letter from the band.
5. Continued access to the members website.
6. Access to presale tickets and special ticket packages on all future shows.

The 2004 calendar and the letter will ship between 12/15 and 1/15. Actual delivery is subject to holiday postal traffic.

We know that you all will be happy with the new club in 2004!

I'm in the fan club & no, I haven't received my calendar yet either, but I saw a Mac calendar today & went crazy. It was half price at Sam Goody at the King of Prussia Mall in PA, & the pictures in it were definitely from the recent tour. I told my husband that I was expecting to get one shortly from the fan club & I wondered if this was the same one they were sending out. Well, he said that would have stupid of me to buy it though it was half price. But it was a really nice calendar. So if anyone is looking for a Mac calendar, you should check out Sam Goody.

I think that it's a pretty fugly calendar. I was very disappointed with it; I don't need to see Mick's sweaty ass for three months straight. :rolleyes:

I agree. The only people that should have had individual pictures are Stevie and Lindsey. The rest should have been group shots. All the shots of John are boring- no offense, but he never seems to in to FM. At least Mick seems like a wild demon and it leads to some interesting shots, but still three months of just him?

I really like the shots of Everyone, ... but I'm sorry, Stevie you look asleep on the cover...But that's just me...


Also I don't like the blury twirling picture

I love the calendar, but, I flat out refuse to look at that awful photo of Mick for all 31 days of January because he looks flat-out disturbing in that one. I love the pics of Lindsey and John and Stevie, but the Mick ones are a little scary :eek: .

From a graphic designer's point-of-view, I thought the calendar was poorly designed with less than favorable pictures. I agree, nobody wants to look at Mick's sweaty ass for three months nor a blurry Stevie. I took better pictures with my camera from the ninth row! If it were my face on a calendar, I'd want to have the best pictures possible on it...and that's my two cents.

Well now, seeing as how I haven't received my calendar, I won't have to look at him for the entire month!!! :laugh:
They're sure not the quickest.....It might be March by the time I'm looking at anything on THAT calendar!!!

A lot of people don't get the calender, so please put some pics on the net so we can see some sweaty ass, and compare them.

I so agree! I haven't gotten mine either. So now I know what I'm missing for January.

Yeah, I keep wondering when I'm gonna get my calender. January is almost over!

There are a couple of different photos that aren't in the tourbook. But overall, it's a disappointing calendar.

One of my gripes with the calendar is that there is no room to write anything; the boxes are soooooo tiny. It's just ridiculous.

I suspect it was just thrown together quickly without any effort because they knew fans would buy it.

It seems like everyone's got a poor deal there from an Official Fan Club like FM you would think they would get those calanders out on time.

I bet Pip could put together a better calander from her fabulous collection of pics of the concerts she's been to, she's been to nearly all of em.

Sorry you've all been disappointed in this way, I was thinking of joining the Fan Club myself this year but I'm having second thoughts now.

Well if you think joining the fan club now wouldnt be a good idea, you better be REAL glad you didnt join last year...because this year is like a breath of fresh air compared to last year when we didnt have to worry about when our calendars would get here cuz we GOT NOTHING...lol.

I recently received mine. I was really disappointed with it, especially the letter with their "autographs".

Plus, I already have a calendar, a Thomas Kinkade one. I don't need a third! (The Kinkade and my planner)

The calendar is a neat little collector's item, but it's nothing essential... especially if you have a copy of the tourbook.

I would have been much happier if they had used some of the recent publicity photographs of the band... such as the ones they used in the USA Today articles early last year... rather than re-hashed performance pics.

And I have to be honest... the black & white theme they used for the album art, the tourbook, and the calendar, wore thin for me. I want some color pics, please!!! :nod:

I just got mine today. I haven't been reading much so it was a total surprise. Yeah, pics suck but it's still nice to get one free, unexpectedly.

I'm getting nervous about the tour. I'm broke and last year did me in and now there is more...sigh.

I'm going to have to prostitute myself.

i got my calender in today
i already had bought a copy from amazon last year so it was the letter i was looking forward too
well atleast nice of them they could also have included nothing
my overall thoughts on the callender i agree with johnny stew
it needs color
and i think they should have used photo's from recent photoshoots rather than live pictures
but he januari is almost over so the mick jan pic is almost history hehe

P. S. I'm still waiting for my calender. It's almost February!

I thought the same thing when I opened it to January!! Also, there aren't enough Stevie pics but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Photos of her have been scarce (on the fanclub site and tourbook) throughout this tour.
