Favourite Lindsey video.

This hasn't been done before, so let's give it a go! Which Lindsey video do you prefer over the others?

I have to admit that I haven't seen Trouble, but I know from descriptions what it's like, supposedly not much interesting things going on. The only video of his I dislike is "Slow Dancing". I hate that posing at the camera, it gives me disturbing images of David Hasselhoff. While "Go Insane" is a bit creepy and "Holiday Road" is fun, I still prefer the OOTC videos over the others. Those show a relaxed, trouble-free Lindsey who isn't afraid of laughing at himself. Especially "Wrong", a lot of great humour there and playing with the matchbox appears very Lindsey-like to me. So that's my pick. :)

My vote goes to Don't Look Down. I just LOOOOOOVEEEEE the way he looks in that video!

Patti

Countdown.

HAMMOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While I love the hammock dearly, I just can't resist a good-looking man in sepia tones. Soul Drifter all the way!!!!!

It has to be "Wrong" for me.

Some great moments... Flaming guitars, "playing" the matchsticks, a nod to the fat cats at the record company and the songs based on Mick too which makes me laugh every time I see it...

:wavey:

Holiday Road
Those intense blue eyes gazing at the glass of water!!

Favorite Lindsey Videos!!!

:wavey: Lindsey looks handsome to me
on any videos we can collect and we
do have them all!:] Wrong is soooo
great! Countdown is carefree and so
very Lindseyish having Fun at Home!
And us girls :) adore the hammock!;)

Don't Look Down gives me great JOY
as does his beauty in Slow Dancing!
His blue eyes are gorgeous within Go-
Insane and his pouty good looks get
me every time on Soul Drifter! Sky

ps...WE LOVE the GUY'S WORK!!! :blob2:

Dang, this is too tough...

I voted for Countdown, because he's having a BLAST in that one!! I love Wrong too, him dressed as Elvis and stuff...GREATNESS!! Soul Drifter is a beautiful video too.

Tie for me between Holiday Road and Soul Drifter. HR is such fun (love seeing "executive" Lindsey!) and Soul Drifter is so beautiful and sophisticated.

I guess I'll go with HR just because I'm in a fun mood right now! :)

Definitely "Wrong"...!! I love everything about it, from the Elvis impersonation to the burning guitars!:)

:wavey: :wavey: :wavey:

WRONG!!!!

:wavey: seteca...Man, Now you got me thinking
about the fun in that one!!!Lindsey Elvis with
the earring and the burning guitars and the
tight jeans {sorry!} and the bare feet...your
right...it is a Work of Art! Good message too!
Lindsey...implicitly... seeking revenge! Sky:)

I voted for Countdown as LB seems so relaxed and happy in this one. However I do agree that all the OOTC vids were great.

Whhaaa!!!!....am I the only one who confesses to like Slow Dancing?? :D Where are my fellow voters?

I like it mostly coz it's Linds at his most goofy (yes, dreadful lipsynching and all...) You have to remember all those 80's videos were pretty funny and this is no exception..besides the song is fun too.

Hey MFM.....whos that hunky dudester in your avatar ;) :D

Well I voted for Slow Dancing, for obvious reasons, that you KNOW I can't say here. ;)!

Just letting you know that TONS of people love that video...but we rarely venture into the open space of the LB Forum.

I think I'll scurry away back into the shadows, now.

-Sharon

*Sigh* This was a tough one. I love the free spirited feeling of Countdown, but (today anyway) I love even more the attitude and "FU-ness" of Wrong :D

-Lisa

Would some nice person be willing to please do a trade or something for a video tape of all Lindsey videos? I know that I don't have all of them. I have a trade page and the link is in my signature. It really needs to be updated. Pretty please?:D

So nobody is voting for Go Insane? O.K. then here we go! Opening the same box again and again and looking at the other him... I only have it in crappy quality but I think it`s quite cool. "Wrong" would be my next choice. "What has Buckingham done with the money...?" That's funny!
Off topic- I became a FM fan after seeing the Big Love video and thought: "Wow this guy is somehow cool!". So I'll always remember this one too.
:wavey: Stefan

Ooh, ooh, ooh..... I see Slow Dancing is catching up! Either that or we have a multiple voter....Sulamith is that you???:) Dosn't matter...it's nice to know it's coming third!

Welsh Witch, I think Nancy has SD now showing on her website (BuckinghamNicks.net) if you want to go see.

Oh, and MFM....:xoxo: ...haha

No Dear, it's not me!

But believe me, I would if I could! I tried to vote again at work, but I got "You have already voted in this poll".

Pooh.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who likes to see him dancing around with Bella Donna that way.

-Sharon

I haven't seen some of them, like Don't Look Down. But between Soul Drifter, Countdown and Wrong I ended up going with Countdown. I swear he is lampooning Stevie and her videos with the dancing and the hallways! Also I think its inevitable that your favourite video is inextricably linked to the song itself, and Countdown does more for me than Soul Drifter. In fact I think I like the Soul Drifter video more than the song! Great look.

I like Don't Look Down for its "Lindsey on the road" thing, but I suppose I have to go with Countdown too. The goofiness is hard to resist.

PS - Joe, I know of this Lindsey site where you can find Don't Look Down. ;)

Thanks for the tip-off, Les ;)

Like any good site madnessfades is full to the brim so I haven't even scratched the surface of it yet, so far mainly focusing on the Songs section.

It's a great video, like the other OOTC videos. His touring band all doing that mexican wave etc, that tour must have been such a fun time for everyone.

Slow Dancin'....

I LOVE Slow Dancing...high hair, bad lipsynching, cheesy effects and all!!! LOL

When he kisses her at the end....;););)

I love the outfit he is wearing too and I love castles...so...yeah.

I voted for Countdown tho because it's just a fun video and he looks like he's having a BLAST jumping around, dancing and crawling down the hallway. LOL

Wrong is GREATNESS too with his Elvis and rock *bleep* <--still LMAO at the VH1 bleep.

Holiday Road is cute too!! That close up eye shot is GORGEOUS!!!!

Ah dang, they ALL rule!! LOL

Yes, Yes, Yes - AND, he looks so naturally happy.

Holiday Road

I have never seen the Holiday Road video. I didn't know there was one. Does anyone have it?

If memory serves, most of the Holiday Road video was clips from the movie.

No it isn't. It is LB in an office setting, wearing a suit and tie, dreaming of escaping, which he does at the end, as he walks off into a "forest" of trees, wearing a very 80's yellow jacket.

-Sharon

Sharon's right. The Holiday Road video oddly enough actually has NO clips from the movie!

It begins with Lindsey working in this dark, kind of 1984-esque office. There are dozens of desks just like his, and some guy at a podium is yelling at them all. He's dressed in a suit and tie and looking very miserable.

There are scenes of him imagining himself in a jail, or watching a man who looks a little bit like Mick (which I thought was funny, since Mick is his real-life "boss") wall him up in the room (think Edgar Allan Poe). At one point, he goes to a water cooler and the thing explodes on him, lol.

At the end, poor business Lindsey is stuck watching "cool yellow Jacket Lindsey" leave. I get this as him giving up the dream, aw. lol

Here are some screen shots from it:

Lindsey videos!

:wavey: Thanks for that Nancy! Never... ever saw that one!
Linds Holiday Road tunes are good! Do you have the
Peacekeeper video stored on site? AOL won't let me
in to see that one! What is it about? LOVE your darling
little THANKSGIVING Pilgrims! ;) Thanks a Lot! Sky:)

Re: Lindsey videos!

I'm glad you like my Pilgrims, lol! Have you tried to watch the video on Launch.com ? Look up "Fleetwood Mac" and it should be there.

Oh, right. That's why I said, "if memory serves." I haven't seen any of these videos in eons. Videos don't interest me much. In fact, I haven't even watched the video in the bonus SYW CD.

By the way, what's Osama Bin Laden doing in that video anyway?

ROTFLMAO!!!:laugh::laugh:

:wavey: :wavey: :wavey:

I realize that, lol.

Forgive me for using this comment as a springboard for a rant, but apparently FM feels the same way. They haven't done a REAL video since the mid-90s - I do NOT count the live stuff. Come on, people, get your act together and do SOME kind of video! Stevie did it, why can't they?

But then again, they're not even playing Thrown Down or SYHA live (although from Soundstage we all know VERY WELL it would be no sweat for Lindsey to play SYHA live). They apparently have very little interest in putting out the effort to promote this album at all. At least Stevie is doing interviews now and not leaving Lindsey and Mick to do everything.

lol! Brings to mind the South Park episode where Osama kidnaps "Stevie Nicks" and the rest of the members of Fleetwood Mac are hidden by the government. I don't like SP, but that had me rolling!

Holiday Road

Thank you so much for posting the Holiday Road screen shots. Wow, I can't believe I haven't seen this video. VH-1 needs to have an A-Z day again like they used to and show this one.
Does anyone have it on VHS?
Chris

I have not seen Soul Drifter or Don't Look Down.
I like Slow Dancing.
I do not like Trouble.
I like Countdown most of all. The outdoorsy feel reminds me of Little Lies, and it's nice to see he's happy instead of brooding in this one.

- Jake

Trouble is definitely plain and boring IMO and It Was I, he looks like his posture is off as his stomach bulges out like he's in pregnancy and the red shirt does nothing for him. So I don't like those Law And Order Videos.
I think Wrong and Countdown are great videos and Soul Drifter and Don't Look Down border on bland and plain.
My favorites I guess would be that 83/84 mark with Holiday Road, Go Insane and Slow Dancing. But after writing that I do have a soft spot for Wrong, Lindsey looks cute as Hendrix!

Soul Drifter!!

I vote "Soul Drifter" because of the descriptions I've read about it. It looks really neat!

Where can I find it for download? I wanna watch it!

"I was struck by the prettiness of it all!" :D

P.S.: Where can I also find "Holiday Road" and "Don't Look Down"?

"Don't Look Down" is on Les' site, http://www.madnessfades.net . I'm going to put up Soul Drifter on my site, http://www.buckinghamnicks.net , this weekend.

..>>>>>Besides... Buckingham looks really hot in it!............
