Christine McVie's look alike

1 Attachment(s)
Okay, do you all remember when we were talking about who should star in a Fleetwood Mac movie?? Well i'm surfing around on local radio station webpages because i'm looking for another job since i'm evidently NOT going to Boston this coming semester (yea, I'll explain later to those few who will want to know) and I come across a picture of someone from 96.5 The Point Philadelphia's morning show. I listen to it every morning so I was like, hmmmm let's check their page first. Anyway, Kim Douglas, part of the morning show, looks EXACTLY like Christine McVie a la The Dance tour. Take a look.....REALLY freaky.

She also looks a bit like J.K. Rowling. :)

darklinensuit 06-30-2003 05:00 PM

There's a resemblance. She does that thing with her lower eyelids that Christine does.

I do see a striking resemblance, especially in the eyes. She'd make a good CM if she can get the accent down. Now all we need is for someone to read this forum and actually make the movie! Somehow, I doubt this will ever happen, however....

flyfirefly 06-30-2003 11:27 PM

I always thought JK Rowling had a fair resemblence.

Not a look-a-like by any means, but possibly a cousin or something ;)

DownOnRodeo 07-01-2003 12:39 AM

Ah glad to see I'm not the only one who's made the Rowling connection :wavey:

A bit OT, but here's another connection between Fleetwood Mac and Rowling...
Stevie and Rowling have both made their millions on a 'magical, witchy' style of writing; Fleetwood Mac and Rowling face/d difficulty moving on after their most poplar creation (Rumours/Harry Potter); Rowling and Stevie have both been considered by some people to be real witches.

At the risk of offending everyone, the only resemblance I can see is that they are all dog-ugly.

Phil is not in Risk Management I take it

Dog ugly? I would not call Christine McVie a dog. Wow. I can't imagine anyone even THINKING that.

But I guess a lack of taste doesn't make you a bad person, just a sad one for not realizing a certain beauty that Christine McVie definitely has.

gypsysara 07-01-2003 11:44 AM

I think its Dog-ugly you said that about Christine. Shame on you!

Oh wow...that's harsh.
I can't imagine anyone thinking Christine McVie is dog ugly. What a horrible thing to say...especially HERE. :(

Phil is back!

Let me express my deepest happiness about it.

Or as Lindsey would say, "why do you come around so very much?"

Folks...

Phil is a Chris hater. Look up most of his posts....nothing but hate for Miss Christine.

Where's that ignore button?

gypsysara 07-01-2003 04:49 PM

I want a PHILTER pronto!

Phil 07-01-2003 05:33 PM

Sorry guys, I stand corrected. Christine is actually quite attractive... if you squint your eyes the way she does... yep, not too bad at all.

For the record, I do not hate nor even dislike Chris... but I do have an opinion about her work as I imagine most of us do. Of course, mine does seem to fluctuate somewhat but there you have it, just one sad little guy's take on things.

Gypsy-Rhiannon 07-02-2003 11:11 AM

There is a way to give an opinion without being rude and degrading... you clearly have no concept of how to do that:rolleyes:

Or how about, "you don't belong here, I guess you never did"....

CHRIS IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!! Shame, shame, SHAME!

macfan 57 07-02-2003 11:54 AM

First, a few weeks ago Songbird Anne came back, now the other Christine McVie troll reappears again. That IGNORE button sure comes in handy.

By the way, I also do see somewhat of a resemblance between Chris & J.K. Rowling. Same accent, too.

BombaySapphire3 07-02-2003 12:54 PM

Even worse that ultimate Fleetwood Mac/Stevie troll the Arizona Ranger resurfaced recently here under the silly name Eagles Mac.Luckily he was found out and his posts were deleted.

CarneVaca 07-02-2003 03:09 PM

Phil, welcome back! I like your curmudgeonly humor. There was another fellow who used to post and did not hold back, but I forgot his name. Ah, good times, good times!

Well, I think Chris is a very beautiful woman. She has a unique look to her and her personality makes her more beautiful. :)

And Phil...cripes. As much as I like posting here, The Ledge certainly has an open door policy for a-holes. :( :o
