Just got my Row 10 Center Dallas ticket on Ticketmaster!
Thank you, gldstwmn, for sending me the message about the tickets!
This had NOT been a good week. I broke up with my girlfriend on Monday and actually went to a singles dinner tonight (NOT my scene, and what follows is one more reason why). Well, hello - I got there & the only other people to show up were two other guys! We were not amused, but we stayed and ate. As I bit further into my pizza, something sticking out of my mouth poked me on the outside of my cheek. I pull out a four inch bent wire! I bring my plate and the wire to the counter to get my money back, and they determined that it's what's left of a twist-tie from the bread package. (Hell, is that Stevie-karma? I wrote about twist-ties in the last song parody I posted!) Well, gee. I guess I'm relieved it wasn't the busboy's braces.
I get home, check my e-mails, & my computer is going bonkers. All I know is that it has taken forever to log onto The Ledge this week, but tonight, I got right in on the first try when my computer would connect to no other sites. (Somehow this computer knew.)
I got the message from gldstwmn & rushed to TM, which promptly froze and failed to recognize my password a couple of times. But in the end, I GOT IT.
This is so great. All week I've been struggling (and annoying Livia with my indecisiveness!) over whether to buy a seat in this EXACT row that's available at an online broker for $295 --- far less than the other ones available, since it's a single seat, which is what I need.
This is Fate!
What's next, getting stuck in the hotel elevator with Stevie?

Whew! I'm glad I could be of help. What kind of pizza joint is using bagged bread for their pizza?:confused: I was on the phone with a long winded client and bless his heart (now) the guy just wouldn't shut up. He called just as I was about to go for a bike ride so I was trying to get out the door. Before I left I thought I'd give it another shot on TM. It was weird. I looked at the screen as it was thinking and I knew it was going to give me something and poof it did. So yes, timing is everything. Glad your week is getting better. I'll see you in Dallas.:nod: P.S. I wish you do get stuck in the elevator with Stevie.:laugh:

It was a health place. Pizza was on foccaccia bread (sp?).

Talk is cheap when it comes to the elevator. Be a pal and cut the power once Ms. Nicks & I are ascending.:) I promise to post the details, so it's a win-win.

I pray we can get rows 1-3 or something in the next couple of weeks....we have GREAT lower balcony seats, but hey, 1-3 is GREATNESS if you are a LINDSEY fan, most especially!!!!!!! So...we'll keep tryin.

Sorry your week was rather horrible but I hope this tenth row center ticket deal is the start of some good luck for ya :nod: Promise me if you get stuck in an elevator with Stevie that you'll sing your Jersey song parodies to her...LMAO...what woman cannot resist a Jersey song parody??!! ;) :laugh:

Me too!!! TX would be an awesome time with you all. After the show, we'd all chill in the bar of the Four Seasons waiting for them to make an appearance...you'd all order drinks...I'd order up my Nestle's Quick...lol :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: Seriously though, it would be a lot of fun and I'd love to meet you and Christy and Jake and Livia again but I have to work and make mo' money :nod: My boss wants me to work more than 40 hours a week and I'm hesitant but I may take him up on it. Bring in the cash, bring on the Mac :nod: Perhaps we'll all meet up at a show before the tour is over :nod:

The latest fan club e-mail said the band was hanging out at the hotel fitness center, so I'll be hanging out on the treadmill until the Blond One shows up in her lace sweats and Reeboks.

Also, Olivia Newton John went to a show. How cool would it have been had she & Stevie done Tied Up in Promises together?!

Who are the Dallas celebrities we can anticipate in the crowd? Is Sandy Stewart from Dallas or Houston? Anybody else you'd anticipate, Christy?

Hmm....no clue of any Dallas celebs who like the Mac. I know Don Henley lives in Texas but he's on tour with the Eagles...so...he probably won't come. LOL It'll be cool if any celebs are there! :cool:

I think that was when they were in Atlanta at the Four Seasons. Some friends of mine used to live there (the hotel is the first 20 or so floors and then its really nice condos for the next 30 or so floors). Residents have full use privileges of the hotel including the gym, room service, etc. (must be nice ;) ). So, I have been in that gym a few times and must say it is just great. Had I known La Nicks would be there , I so would have been working out with one of my friends that lives there!!!!! :eek: :cool: :D

Congrats on the ticket. I am still trying to juggle work to get to Dallas. :mad: If so, we will all have a GREAT time!!!!

Sandy lives in Houston. She was at the Houston TISL. I will be at the Dallas show. Hope to meet everyone!!
