Tell me about it Joe. I wouldn't be surprised if the album covers came from The Penguin too. All of the albums in their discography that I looked at were copied in this manner.

Well, I don't like the new FM website. I think it's tacky and cheesy. I much prefer The Penguin. And not to turn this into a bashing thread, but I think Johnathan Todd is sleazy rotten scum. :nod:

I agree with you, I think that the new site is way to cumbersome to be of any practical use. Especially the new and ripped off discography section. The only part that's kind of cool is all the pictures. The rest is useless.

Hey, I liked the flash and color. I am a Fleetwood Mac fan, but what I'd really like to see there is a little honesty and integrity. When they pick up on those attributes, I'll be impressed. The whole "official" thing is a meaningless sham.

You can always trust the fans. The hired hand that has been running things at the "official site," abusing the trust of the fans, ought to be packin' up and shackin' up elsewhere.

Jonathan Tood makes the Iraqi Minister Of Information (Good ol "Baghdad Bob") seems like a very TRUTHFUL person in my opinion...LOL...And I agree that is blantant plagiarism!!! Brian J.

Yeah, well not to blow our own trumpets but The Penguin discogarphy will always be better than what they have as, if nothing else (and even if they steal the SN, LB, MF & JM guest appearances etc. from the Penguin discography and put them oer there (which I don't think they will but...)), they'll NEVER touch the "forgotten" members discography stuff, I mean, heaven forbid they have THEIR stuff on their site, that data is of no use to them, it will not make them any money, oh no, can't have that! :)

Even if not many people read it over here, at least the "option" is here to click on it and look around. Over there, there's not even that option and it will never be there.

AMEN TO THAT ONE SISTA. He doesn't get any points from me for getting something half assed up and running after having so many complaints and the atty Gen breathing down his neck. He is just trying to change some stripes, but, guess what? The old ones will bleed through.

As for the comparisons to the Iraqi information minister, at least the Iraqi information minister, whatever his name is, has (had?) a sense of humor. Can't you just see him doing a half-hour comedy show, taking full advantage of his deadpan delivery of the most improbable assertions?
