Yes it does. But then again, she contradicts herself yearly.

If they bothered to learn it, I'd say that it was seriously considered.

I'm not so sure that they had actually learned it so much as they were figuring out as they went along. To me it just sounded like they were goofing off - like when they randomly started playing that Jackson 5 song [I think? Am I going nuts?] in rehearsals one time.

Remember the Mac did play leather and lace once during the Mirage tour with Don Henley. Was the show in Oakland? Its on the bootlegs someone posted here.

Agreed. As usual, she is reframing the song as blues. Along with Lindsey's guitar riff, the song could have sounded saucy, like Anything is Possible or Everybody Finds Out.

I think you're right. This is just goofing off. Rehearsals are very long and very boring. You don't just move from one song to the next on your set list. You screw around a lot—you diddle.

Because of the quirkiness of LB and CM's style, I always found Stevie's solo arrangements to be more generic live. Waddy is a lot of flash and low on substance for me. I know everyone loves him, but he tries to be this heavy guitar player and it's just E riffing and it bores me.

Interesting. I didn't know they played it. But it wasn't at that show, 'cause i was there. :) Thanks for the tidbit. :)
