We can confirm that the street date for the reissues of Rumours, Fleetwood Mac & Tusk is 3/23/04. Each historic album digitally remastered and expanded with rarities. Deluxe packages feature restored LP art, previously unseen archival photos, extensive new liner notes and complete lyrics.

1975’ FLEETWOOD MAC, the realigned band’s #1 debut album, is a quintuple-platinum smash! Original track listing now expanded with bonus single versions of the hits “”Say You Love Me,” “Rhiannon,” “Over My Head,” and “Blue Letter.”

21 unreleased tracks for Tusk and 18 for Rumours!? Could it be Fleetwood Mac is finally doing this right? If this is accurate, I will gladly spend the money.

I think it is RHINO that is "doing this right"...you don't REALLY believe Mick & Company would have the cajones to follow through on this themselves, do you? :laugh:

Maybe you're right about Mick & company not having the cojones to follow through but don't they (the band) have to give the OK for this reissues to happen? :shrug:

Yeah, but I meant they wouldn't INITIATE the process. They probably just "signed off" on what Rhino presented them with.

Thanks for posting the news. It looks like we finally have a definite release date for these re-issues. With all of the George Harrison reissues, another Dylan bootleg CD set plus these Fleetwood Mac re-issues & hopefully soon thereafter the White Album & Tusk DVD audios-this is going to get very expensive for me. :)
