In all honesty, I have had more trouble with Jones Beach than with any other venue. Luckily, I've had rides at least one way for each of the concerts I've been to...but, even that hasn't been easy since we were once in this detour from hell that brought us back to the "Welcome to Jones Beach" sign for over an hour. The one time I went there with public transportation...it was difficult. And the last time I looked (which was going on last year's schedule) the bus to the train station didn't stop in front of the venue any more but somewhere by the bath houses. Not sure whose lame brain idea that was. And, another problem is, if you don't have a car, I'm pretty sure you'd have to arrange a car service to a hotel. I don't think there are any within walking distance.
