the other one is with my friends going to a new year's party in Barcelona. It was very cold with our thin dresses...I'm the one with the violet dress...well, we are two in this colour, but i'm the pale one, nor the ginger girl.

I saw the words "Christmas sweater" and was hoping for knitted reindeer or a crochet Santa Claus, but alas. :(

We are thinking of having an "ugly Christmas sweater" party next year. You know, have everyone wear the kind of sweaters your high school English teacher wore?

Well, if you think about it just a little bit, you'll see the Santa connection as you read these words:

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,

But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,

With a little old driver, so lively and quick,

I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.

More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,

And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!

And that would be the best party ever, mylittledemon. I've oft wondered if there's a special store that elementary teachers buy their sweaters from, because it appears to be some kind of law that they must wear something godawful and themed whenever a holiday rolls around.

Preferably with blinking earrings.
